We really enjoyed our visit at the Chop House at Lake Sumner. The atmosphere is upper class, comfortable and elegant. The food is very good, my filet was cooked perfectly snd very tender. Our server was also great, friendly and very attentive. The outside seating area is also nice with a beautiful view of the lake.

Alright, I have to admit I should have ordered a steak. However, i had the caesar salad with shrimp whic was “ok”, scallops with baccon “ok” and braised lamb shank (more like boiled), soggy sprouts (therefore 3 stars for niw) Ciryl is good at the bar. The wine list is great.

Steven was the best server I had during my entire Florida trip and truly made the experience excellent. Michael was also great and super friendly. The food was amazing, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting.

This was my second visit to ChopHouse. My husband and I came here for our 26 wedding anniversary last year. Our dinner was amazing! I took my mom and sisters here for Mother’s Day. 10am brunch. The Mother’s Day menu was limited so it was challenging making a decision. My mom and I ordered salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. My mom had broccoli as her veggie of choice. One sister ordered the lobster omelette and the other ordered fish(I don’t recall what kind) with mashed potatoes. Both said the food was delicious. One sister said her food was slightly warm so our server was awesome making sure she received a hot plate of food. Our server Mark (pictured) was amazing!!!! He was friendly, personable, attentive and just plain nice. The drinks were delicious also. I ordered a beautiful mocktail and my sister had a lemon drop. Our dessert was good as well. Vanilla ice cream with two homemade red velvet cookies. YUM! The manager was going table to table making sure everyone had a fine dining experience. She was awesome as well!! Overall, good experience again.

We had an amazing experience at this steakhouse! We made reservations, so there was no wait at all, and everything flowed perfectly from the moment we arrived. My party of ten was seated right away, and the service was outstanding all night.
Our waiters, Kevin and Jairo, were phenomenal — professional, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. Even though Madison wasn’t our server, she was incredibly sweet, kind, and just such a genuinely pleasant person every time she came by.
The food was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect, and the staff truly made our night special. Highly recommend!

Ravan made our entire experience exceptional. From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, warm, and incredibly professional without ever feeling overbearing. Her recommendations were spot-on, the timing of everything was perfect, and she genuinely made us feel taken care of. You can tell she truly cares about the guest experience, not just the service.
Great food, beautiful atmosphere, and outstanding service but Ravan is what truly made the night memorable. We’ll absolutely be back and will be asking for her again.

A group of 7 of us waited nearly 2 hours for our meals. One dish was ordered medium rare and arrived well done. When brought to the servers attention, he took the dish and came back within two minutes with an even more well done dish. Four of us ordered Oscar filet trio, and none of us received the crabmeat on top of the filet. For the same dollar amount, I would rather go to Arnold Palmer, Legacy restaurant, or Prima where staff are very attentive, food is perfectly done, and if not, a correction which is proper is made. And lastly, the host/hostess always thanks us on the way out. Very disappointed with our birthday celebration experience at the Chop House. It’s sad when all seven in a party of seven are dissatisfied, especially for fine dining.

Disappointed! This is a beautiful restaurant inside. Wonderful service by everyone but host area. We weren’t greeted on way in nor on way out, two employees engaged deeply in conversation as we left. This is unsatisfactory for pricing level here.
We hadn’t been here in sometime because we’re Houstonians and when we first moved here we were disappointed then too. Decided to try again with friends from Houston hoping there had been improvement in food. No improvement but server was just a nice and accommodating as she could be.
Two grouper entrees were ordered and they couldn’t have been more different in quality. One was flaky and perfect with creamed spinach. This person in our party was satisfied with their meal. However, other grouper meal could not be cut with a steak knife! Like its freezer burnt and piece of fish was thick not a filet. Management came to our table and they tried to redo but others at table would have been finished and we were going to a show. This meal was comped. Lobster bisque was okay but too thick and not one piece of lobster on top for garnish — nothing.
One steak tasted like lighter fluid and our guests didn’t say anything until we were in car leaving.
Another steak was good, but notice the burnt shriveled up brussel sprouts on the plate — ridiculous.
A brisket appetizer was ordered and it was actually pretty good. Frankly speaking, everything should be good at this restaurant. It certainly would not stand the test of time in a city like Houston.
Disappointed and embarrassed that this is restaurant we chose for nice evening out with visitors trying to show the “the best” of our community.

Ravan was our server and she was absolutely professional! We were seated immediately even though we had no reservations and the place was packed! Thank you Michael! And we had a question about pickles on Waygu beef hamberger which Neil answered with pleasure and we had a great chat! What an amazing staff! Oh let me not forget the food! Chicken Bocutinni and fried green tomatoes 5 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Waygu Hamburger perfection! I can’t wait to come back for more!
