Also attached is a picture of the $18 quesadilla I ordered. It was the first thing out and that’s probably because they didn’t even bother to cook the cheese. It was supposed to come with fixings like lettuce pico rice etc. and came with nothing. I had to ask twice for the stuff that was supposed to be on the $18 quesadilla. I ended up with a plate of old lettuce and a tomato and never got the rice. At absolute most that thing should be worth $10, but I’ve seriously seen more impressive quesadillas from a kids menu. For $18 it’s absolutely mind boggling to serve something of such low quality.
We also ordered the BBQ pork sandwich which literally came with no BBQ? It was just plain pork. And a Philly sandwich which was also so bad we couldn’t eat more than half. I’m disgusted and horrified at the quality of food especially considering the outrageous price. The meals should be 1/3 the price for what you’re getting. I’ve had better quality food from Taco Bell at 3am.
I will say the waitress was nice and tried to fix the issues with the food but we could tell they were fed up with the kitchen too. Although, a good waitress should be able to tell the food is coming out wrong in the first place. And I know the issues with the food were brought to the managers attention but she never came over to our table to address the problem. Also, the restaurant was not busy at this time. Overall, Blue parrot next door is 100x better. This place is a major let down and we will not be returning.
The water is self serviced which I wasn’t the biggest fan of but I guess it means you don’t ever have to wait on your waitress to bring it to you. They also do not have any mock tails to offer which was hard since my friend is sober now. I wanted her to still feel like she could have a fun drink and the waitress couldn’t come up with anything and said sorry they couldn’t do them. Wasn’t a fan of my paper plates for the appetizers- mine kept flying away. All in all – I will be back for the food.

The food wasn’t the best this evening. The southwest eggs felt like biting into a donut. It was way too soft. The calamari was lukewarm. The only part of the night that made it worth going was my drink a Miami Vice.
Try the Mahi Mahi fish tacos with cilantro rice. Be sure to spritz some fresh sliced lime onto everything.
Try the stuffed potato skins smothered in pulled pork.
Chase it down with a cold beer or a blended drink.
You will not be disappointed with any of these choices.
