A must eat restaurant when you come to Florence.. the waiter Vittorio had the best suggestions if your not sure what to order.. a very warm and hospitable place with very kind and friendly staff.. please get the steak as it’s the best in the world.. ravioli with truffle melts in your mouth and the tiramisu is like butter.. I absolutely will come back and recommend to everyone!

Service is good. Prices are reasonable. Food wasn’t my favorite. There’s so many great places in Florence to eat meat and pasta, this one definitely falls short, the bisteca was overcooked by the time they sat it on the table we had to rush to get it off the plate so it didn’t cook any longer.. which we failed at cuz it was completely cooked by the time we finished moving it to our plates. The pasta was too thick. Not great.

The pasta was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the wine was great. There’s not much more to say, they get everything right here. The dining room is very small and was full the entire time we were there so a reservation is probably best.

I had a beef ragu and hugo spritz. Both were really nicely prepared – the beef particularly melted in my mouth and was very flavourful – would recommend. There was no queue for lunch and plenty of spaces available.

I found this restaurant from a Reddit recommendation and we gave it a try for some Florentine Bisteca. I liked that it wasn’t on the main strip of tourist restaurants, but not far everything. Very cute, great Bisteca, but pricey. Enjoyed the meal, wine and black truffle ravioli. We made reservations in advance.

Very tourist style restaurant in Florence, friendly service and good atmosphere but food was a real disappointment! Pasta carbonara was way too salty and beef slices drenched with mushroom sauce. After my Prato culinary experience, this is a real let down…….. not too sure if other restaurants in Florence are the same??

Genuinely wonderful food. Superbly prepared, with really helpful friendly service, and even fun and engaging with our kids. Not a kid restaurant, per se, but definitely accommodating and our younger one was even able to order Aglio Olio off-menu in a kids portion! The Beef was fantastic, and everyone felt we ate the best meal we had whilst in Tuscany, including some extremely yummy desserts and not at all at outrageous prices. Cute atmosphere and decor, just all really really nicely done, in a great location, very centrally. A treat of a visit!
