They were ok. A little weird. I wouldn’t order again.
What made them bad was that they used pickled jalapeños.
Wack.
birria tacos.
They were good.
A combo plate with red enchilada, chile relleno and a crispy beef taco.
The taco and enchilada were bland and boring.
The chile relleno was good.
The best part of this place is that the horchadas are refillable.
So go for the chille relleno, birria a d horchadas!
I didn’t hate it. Didn’t love it.
You kind of have to look for the shop since it’s set back from the street a little. It wasn’t busy when we went so there was plenty of parking but lot might fill up on a Friday or Saturday night.
1. The staff was all super friendly and food came out really fast
2. This might be the best Birria in CO springs. I literally hadn’t eaten all day so I ordered some and then ordered more.
3. Outstanding menu full of deliciousness
4. Fun tablecloths!
Literally the only “bad” thing was my clothes and hair smelled like Birria/other spices when I got home and I wasn’t planning to wash my hair that day
The french fries are amazing. The french fries are amazing. The french fries are amazing
The burger is not greasy, which is a good thing for me
And their burrito was really really good
Their service is really good. I haven’t been there in a while.
But if i’m around there, and i’m hungry, I’ll definitely go there
Well, it was not the experience we wanted and it was most likely due to their food only being take out due to the current Colorado state mandate for restaurants. The nachos were soggy chips under all of the generous toppings. Sadly there was not enough chips to hold up to the generous toppings. Plus they use nacho cheese instead of shredded cheese. I’m not a fan of nacho cheese.
My fajitas ended up being corn tortillas instead of flour. I should have clarified but that one is on me. There was no cheese separate from the ones that melted in the beans. Otherwise the portion was great for the price.
The torta was quality and my wife really enjoyed it.
Overall, I might try them again when the mandate is over as I feel taking it home made an impact on the taste aspect.
