The food was not great, not even average. Ordered the paneer curry, gravy was watery. Dal makhani was good but not really wow. The nans were soft but well who goes to a restaurant for nan. The mango lassi was good so can definitely try that. But that’s it. The 2 stars are for service and only service, would give half a star for food. The manager on the day was really good, he was able to accommodate additional requests, he did bring my side salad despite being very busy. The restaurant was too crowded on the day we were there and he was running around trying to manage everything. He also brought the complimentary mango lassi for the kiddo while we were waiting when the food was getting delayed. Overall, I will not go back again though. Over priced items probably because it’s in a mall but zero taste.

The Crossing – Indian Bistro (Galeries Lafayette Gourmet, Paris)
Hands down the best Indian food in Paris. We came for lunch and were genuinely impressed — every dish, from the starters to the mains to the breads, was perfectly executed with clean flavours and beautiful balance.
The service was fast, attentive, and seamless, matching the quality of the food without ever feeling rushed.
A must-visit when you’re at Galeries Lafayette — located in the Gourmet building, it’s the ideal stop for an exceptional meal between shopping. Highly recommended.

Really tasty curry! The flavors were spot on and the portions were big enough. The staff were friendly. Only downside was that it took a bit of time to get the food, but honestly it was worth the wait.
I’d definitely come back again!

As an Indian, I can confidently say this restaurant serves truly authentic Indian food. The flavors, spices, and preparation reminded me of home, which is something you rarely find outside India. In a city like Paris, where Indian cuisine can sometimes be adapted too much to local tastes, this place does full justice to real Indian cooking.

First time at this hidden gem. Wonderful service, fairly priced formules (you will not leave hungry). The highlight for us was the dahi puri and the saffron rasmalai. Provided feedback that the main dishes would have been better with a bit more spices and chilli, they mentioned you can request this next time! I would come back!
