I love Fado for a great place to hangout, grab a drink, and watch sports, especially big games. During big games they’ll open it up and crowd as many people in, very fun for that vibe if you don’t mind standing. They’ll have servers come to you and get your drinks too. When it’s not as crowded you can sit down and they have decent food too

Dinner 06/23/25 before show at Miller Theatre. Very short walk.Alex was excellent server. Very friendly and helpful with suggestions. Grilled salmon was cooked perfectly. Chicken boxty quesadilla so good I ate one portion before taking this photo. Prices very reasonable; not just Philadelphia/city reasonable.

We spent the afternoon at Fado for the Super Bowl on February 9, 2025. We were beyond extremely impressed with the service and the security staff. . Everything was so well run. Not only were the security staff members keeping us safe (especially one gentleman who is kind of a bigger guy wearing a gray number 11 eagle sweatshirt I do not remember his name), they were helping the servers and food runners get the food safely to everyone which was extremely impressive. Our server (Delaney) was absolutely amazing. She was extremely friendly and tolerant of everyone as the game went on! As you can imagine the restaurant was extremely busy and we never had to wait for anything. She along with everyone else were working so hard and successfully serving us! They were completely adequately staffed, which was awesome. Just wanted to give a huge shout out to not only the staff, but also the managers for Making this happen. Great job to everyone and we will highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food was delicious as well. ! Five stars all around!!!.

We had a great visit here on July 28th. We found ourselves having to stay in Philadelphia for an extra day. We were tired, so we walked to this bar. On the way, a homeless guy asked us “to shine a light in my ear, I think my medicine is stuck”, we declined and ducked into this pub.
It was mid-afternoon, after lunch and only a few people were at the bar. We took a window seat and ended up being “entertained” by the homeless guy outside. I won’t get into the details, but let’s just say he took a liking to my wife, but the window separated us. The waitress, who was FANTASTIC, asked how we were doing and when I pointed out the antics of the guy, let’s just say she was SHOCKED. She worked there 3 years and never saw anything like it. I am in my mid 50’s and never witnessed anything of the sort.
However, that wasn’t the fault of the restaurant, nor the girl who waited on us. She apologized many times, but we ended up moving tables and talking a bit with here. I wanted to give her a shout out as she handled it very well. She was also personable and friendly. We talked about our families and jobs, etc. It ended up being a good time.
Drinks were great and the only thing I photographed, but I ordered a Rueben and it was fantastic! Food and drinks were excellent! Service was excellent! I didn’t want that to get lost in the review because of other circumstances. Great job and great visit Fado Irish Pub! You made our last day completely worth the visit. We are glad we found you and will return when we visit there again! Thank you to the waitress “Jersey girl” who grew up with brothers, I am sorry I forgot your name, but YOU fixed everything! We appreciate you and look forward to meeting you again sometime. Fado’s better never let you go and give you a raise!

Had brunch with kids on a Sunday morning. The chicken and waffles were really done well and I devoured them. Kids had mac n cheese which they liked. Lots of soccer fans having a good time, great environment for that with a lot of TVs

This pub is a nice spot to go before seeing a show in Philadelphia because it’s very close, reasonably priced for good quantities of food, and has a nice busy energy. We got the burger and quesadilla. The burger was decent but the bun was very bland. The quesadilla was a great value. We never received silverware or napkins. It was easy and quick to pay at the table.

Came here last night with a bunch of my friends and had SO much fun! We arrived at around 11 and had to wait on a line to get in, once we were inside it was super crowded but got better as the night went on. The service was very quick which is always appreciated on a busy Saturday night. Great place to come if you’re looking to go out with friends, dance, and have fun! Can’t wait to return.

No matter how busy we are we always have to stop in for a beer. I love this pub. Seems to always have fantastic staff and the Guinness is always on point. Will go back for years to come.
