White Rhino Bar & Grill is located at 101 East Joliet Street in Dyer Indiana, directly across the street from Fransican Hospital Dyer on Route 30. White Rhino Bar & Grill truly has something for everyone, a full restaurant and bar as well as banquet space and full catering. It is an open concept restaurant, providing a wonderful atmosphere for lunch, dinner, cocktails, or even DJ and dancing. The restaurant serves a combination of gourmet entrees and pastas as well as simpler favorites. The bar offers 16 beers on tap for a total of over 110 different brands of beer. There was six of us on a Friday night. Place was busy. Food came out hot and everyone enjoyed their dishes. Tapped beer was low on CO2. Manager credits for our drinks. I ordered the walleye and perch. It was excellent. Very thin breading and did not taste like straight salt. Took some home and it reheated nicely, which is rare. On a busy night make sure you make reservations.

I sat at the bar tonight with Joe and Tabitha and had such a good time! I got the White Rhino beef sando and it was great. It’s Friday so people came to party, DJ was playing all the hits, and it was a whole vibe. I felt super comfortable sitting alone at the bar, chatting with the friendly bartenders. They make a great old fashioned! I’ll def be back soon!

Just had the worst steak sandwich ever. Ordered it medium rare and got it cooked well done. It had so much gristle as to be almost inedible. The size is way smaller than in the past and the quality isn’t even close to what it used to be.

I always enjoy this place. Hubby and I went here for dinner. There food is good, the drinks are “so-so” (a little watered down) and the music (live DJ) on Friday nights is cool. The last time I visited here, the waitress, Cassie, was very nice and friendly. We will definitely be going back. I was just a little disappointed that they no longer had corned beef on the menu (only available around St Patrick’s Day), but I’ll try again next year!

My friend told me about this placeand that the food & drinks were really good. So she planned a triple date night. I have a gluten allergy and also have to avoid cheese so I looked online at the menu to see if there was anything desireable to eat. Just by looking I couldn’t find much except a lot of friends food, which I do not eat. I didn’t really want to go. But went along to be with hubby & friends. I must say I was pleasantly surprised!! The waiter said I could get the Shrimp without any breading & I ordered a baked potato and veggies! My food was excellent! We ordered Old Fashioned and they were very good! It was a bit dark inside & a lot visually but no biggie. I enjoyed myself very much & hubby really liked his food too! So did my other friend & her hubby who had not been there before either. I will definitely be back. As a matter of fact, I’m taking another friend up there this weekend.
