I’ve been here several times in the past few months, and can’t understand why this place is always empty. The food is well made and consistently delicious.
Portion sizes are slightly smaller than I am used to but still filling nonetheless. The chicken Korma and Vindaloo is definitely my favorite here, but like many Indian restaurants, they have a large variety of choices. Their Nan bread is the real treat, even if it is the most expensive bread I have ever had to pay for.
It’s hard to judge the atmosphere here since it is always empty, though I guess it’s really nice if you are in to dining quietly. In the end, expect to pay about 15-20 dollars per person for a dinner here.

First off I wanna say India palace is great for lunch. However, dinner has got to be one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. The food was good. (Except for the canned veggies in the veggie korma) The service we received was atrocious. The waiters forgot several things. It took 20 min to get drinks and 45 minutes for any food other than the crackers to get to our table. We had 4 people in our party. A couple walked in after us and received their naan bread and apps a good 20 mins before we did. Finally, we got our apps naan and entrees at the same time. The food was good. But, at the end we were supposed to receive dessert with our order which we never got. I love this place, but will NEVER go back for dinner.

The lamb was over done. I paid $16 for Lamb Tika Misala that did not include rice. I get a far better value at Taj Palace.
