We really like this place a whole lot. ANOUSONE was our favorite. Mr. Thomson was just above and beyond. Definitely stop and try EVERYTHING. All the other places we tried were great. Definitely worth going. We will be back.

Visiting Family and my Granddaughter wanted Sushi food was good. I Ordereda drink from the Bar along with our food,we finished eating and my drink was still not delivered. I inquired about the drink at the bar,Noone acknowledged that my drink was made,Management refunded my money. And after speaking to my daughter about the service he apologized (which he did not when he refunded my money) and gave a gift card.

The food was really good. It’s a little loud inside the restaurant. And it’s best to go get your food, Because sometimes they’re low on staff and it will take a very long time for you to get your food and drinks. However the staff were very nice.

I quite enjoyed this place. I went somewhere similar with horrible food. This place was bright and open, felt welcoming even though you basically servicing yourself. I ordered from 2 different places and enjoyed what I got. I like that the 21+ beverages are brought to your table so you can continue to enjoy your food.

This was a great experience!! Such a unique place. I ate in the very back and had delicious food. I ordered a noodle bowl with beef and cucumber salad and both were very good.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! There are so many tasty and affordable food options to suit everyone’s palate. The staff are consistently friendly and have mastered the art of customer service! We chose Strang Hall for our work holiday meal and they did not disappoint! Shawn was very helpful and went the extra mile to make this perfect for our group. I refer people here for all of the above reasons.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a “Chef’s Dinner” at this establishment on January 15, and I must say it was a culinary experience to remember! Chef Chad Hughes truly outdid himself, creating a feast that tantalized the taste buds and left a lasting impression.

The menu was a delightful blend of flavors and textures, showcasing the chef’s creativity and mastery of culinary artistry. From the poached prawn appitizer to the Star Anise “Cookies and Cream” dessert, each dish was thoughtfully crafted, perfectly portioned and was a symphony of flavors that danced on the palate.

The attention to detail was evident not only in the exquisite presentation of each dish but also in the seamless service provided by the staff. Multiple food allergies were present at my table, and the Chef and staff went above and beyond to make sure that not only were we fed, but that the dishes were just as good as the originals prepared for everyone else.

The ambiance added to the overall charm, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that complemented the gastronomic journey. However, I would have preferred some light music and for the lights to be dimmer, respecting the one of a kind event taking place.

What truly stood out for me was the chef’s ability to balance innovation with familiarity. While some dishes pushed the boundaries of flavor combinations (star anise in ice cream, who knew?!?), they remained accessible and satisfying to a wide range of palates.

The staff’s attentive service enhanced the overall dining experience. The waitstaff was friendly, accommodating, and added a personal touch to the evening.

I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a culinary adventure. Kudos to Chef Chad Hughes and the entire team for creating an evening filled with gourmand delights. I will undoubtedly be returning to savor more of their culinary creations in the future!

Always an amazing selection, no matter what you are craving. Perfect for families or groups who may want different types of cuisines. Atmosphere is great…well organized and clean. Outdoor space and great cocktails are bonuses!

There is a Strang Hall Insiders Facebook page where the individual restaurants post specials and featured menu items regularly. Definitely worth joining the group.

Went here with my family on Saturday, it was our first time. Food and drinks were great it came out in a timely manner. It was reasonably priced. Although, the Atmosphere was terrible. I would most definitely not go back with my children. The chef from the sushi place (we saw he was the chef because we had seen it on the flyer) seemed in a terrible mood when we were ordering. We saw him scream at his coworkers, along with throwing things on the floor. Does not seem like a family oriented place with those spectacles going on. Probably wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend to others.

We recently visited Strang Hall and ordered from two of the vendors—Norcini and Fenix. Unfortunately, the overall experience left a lot to be desired, both in terms of food quality and customer service.

At Norcini, we ordered a meatball sub. The girl who took our order was clearly uninterested in helping. She barely spoke in full sentences, mumbled responses, and when we had questions, she simply pointed at the menu without making any real effort to assist us. The acoustics in the space aren’t great, so clear communication would definitely help, but we received none.

When the sandwich arrived, it was incredibly dry with barely any sauce—see attached photos. We had to go back and ask for extra sauce on the side. At over $22 for just a meatball sandwich and a drink, I expected much more. The meatballs seemed like they had been sitting around all day—dry and lacking any real flavor. Surprisingly, the salad was the highlight from Norcini: fresh, bright, and paired with a great dressing.

Next, I went to Fenix and ordered a breakfast burrito. Since I don’t eat beef or pork, I asked about swapping the meat for extra egg or a bit of guacamole. I wasn’t asking for anything major—just a simple substitution. I was told there would be an upcharge, which made no sense given I was opting out of the protein. I declined and got the burrito with no meat.

That said, the burrito itself was really tasty and satisfying, and at $14, it was a better value than the meatball sub. However, the service was once again disappointing. The staff came across as unhappy and disengaged, making the experience feel unwelcoming.

This was our first visit, and unfortunately, it will also be our last. Another reviewer mentioned that Strang Hall feels like a glorified food court, and I have to agree—it doesn’t offer anything particularly special. Also, I dislike being required to give out my phone number just to pick up my order. A simple table number or a pager system would suffice.

Final thoughts:
The food was hit or miss (the burrito was great, the sub was not), but the consistently poor service across vendors really tainted the experience. The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is because of the burrito. Otherwise, this visit was disappointing from start to finish.
