Used to be a long time fan of this restaurant. recently moved back into town and ordered some take out for the wife and 2 kids to show them how good it was. I ordered the sacchetti and penne primavera with chicken, two old favorites. 55$ later I arrive home with two To-go containers that are half the size they used to be. I was so disappointed with the portions and won’t be ordering from them again even though they used to be a favorite. Food was still good but portions were like having a kids meal. I will attach a photo to show. Hope things go back to the way they were.

This was our first time here and we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It was a full house and the waiter was fantastic!
Restaurant and bathroom very very clean. It was snowing when we left and the lights they have hung outside brought joy and felt like a winter wonderland.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and our server, Christopher, elevated the entire experience with his attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and thoughtful recommendations. He struck the perfect balance of being present without ever hovering, which made our evening both relaxed and enjoyable.
For dinner, we chose two standout pasta dishes: the Penne Pasta casserole with Bolognese sauce and the Rigatone with braised Italian sausage. Both were absolutely delicious—rich, hearty, and perfectly prepared, showcasing the rustic Italian flavors Lucrezia’s is known for. The pasta was cooked to perfection, the sauces deeply flavorful, and the portions generous without being overwhelming.
Dessert was the perfect finale. I loved the atmosphere even though it was an hour and 40 minutes for a table for 2. Friendly hostess. Bar mixer was fabulous.
Food was overcooked, but seasoned well. It was fairly priced. I’m glad I went and had fun, but I won’t be back for the apps or entrees. I’ll just be returning for wine and dessert.

Mine and my husband’s first time here. We have both worked in the service industry in the past and I must say, the food, and the service was immaculate. The establishment was super clean and they refilled our drinks without us having to ask (which is huge to us.)
The food was beautiful in regards to presentation and very flavorful. I had the chicken piccata and my husband had the short ribs (which was so tender!). Also, you get free bread and oil (the oil tasted so fresh!) I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

After a failed attempt to dine the previous day due to a wait, (I really shkuld have waited) we returned and were promptly seated at this small, cozy restaurant with available patio seating. The waitress provided excellent service throughout the meal. The bread was fresh and hot, and the bruschetta appetizer was bursting with flavor. The stuffed shells were exceptional, possibly the best ever, while the fettuccine with chicken was fresh and tasty. The penne casserole was perfectly cooked, loaded with cheese, and featured a flavorful meat sauce. The carrot cake was a delightful, foolproof dessert choice, rounding out a highly satisfying dining experience.

Very small restaurant in Chesterton Indiana on a Friday it was packed. Waited 20 min for a table but was worth it. Good dirty and espresso marti. They have a herb infused olive oil which is amazing with their bread. The bread is hot and fresh! Calamari was good and flavorful. The portabella appetizer was good. I wasn’t a big fan of the minestrone soup.. tasted like tomato soup with some veggies in it. The lamb shank (signature dish) was amazing. Very tender. Fettuccine Alfredo was decent but not the best I have had. Great place for a dinner with friends. Since it’s small gets noisy at times. Summer it must be great since they have an outdoor patio.

I loved the atmosphere! My husband and I tried their app of the week Pepperoni Garlic Butter Pastry Pizza Twist with Ranch. It was great, super soft, and flaky. We both loved the ranch sauce too even though I don’t like ranch!
For our entree we shared their Mini Beef Wellingtons. It came with three small wellingtons with risotto and grilled veggies. We both loved it, they were the perfect size, crispy and flaky on the outside, very tender medium rare on the inside! Perfectly seasoned, and when I say tender I mean tender! We absolutely loved it. The veggies were also cooked to perfection, we left that plate clean.
For dessert we had their strawberries with cinnamon Mascarpone. Again, amazing, perfectly sized and perfectly sweet.
We stopped in Chesterton, IN on our road trip back to VA from Milwaukee. We made a great choice ❤️we’re sad that it’s not located in Annandale, VA!

Great place, food was delicious. Service was great, bartender was especially on his game. He was listening to everyone actively. He had drinks out in record time and they were perfectly executed. I had the short rib with mushroom risotto which was fantastic. Price was also very reasonable for the quality of food. Would go back.
