Hunk o meat..thats about the best i can describe the burger. Chef obviously afraid of seasonings, bun seemingly dipped under water. Fries were good, mozzarella sticks over priced ($9 for 6 overcooked generic mozzarella sticks). Probably wouldn’t go back. WAY better food for the price elsewhere, but im guessing if you were drink enough it would taste good

First time going, always heard about this place. Decided to give it a try and I will be back. The burger was really good and liked I could get it cooked medium rare.
The mushrooms were really good.
The server Brianna was super friendly. She asked our names and even shook our hands and welcomed us.
Definitely wanna try the French dip they have on Friday nights.

A big group of us headed to W.F. Cody’s after a death in the family right before Thanksgiving. We had the full range, from babies to old folks, in our group. Our waitress Krys was amazing. She was the only waitstaff for a pretty full restaurant. She was working so hard and was doing it with a smile on her face. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. It was just what our family needed. Highly recommend.

Great place. Great food, aside from being extra greasy. Service is normal Great, but this time waitresses were spacey, and when it was time to leave they were nowhere to be found. After looking for 10 minutes, finally went to the bar to cash out for our food.

Best thing we ate was the mozzarella sticks. Fries were over fried. Cheesesteak was so dry. Enjoyed the burger but bun was thin that it kept falling apart.
Waitress came by once after she served the food. She kept talking to people at the bar so we had to flag her down to get our check. Food was definitely not worth what we paid.
Disappointed for out 1st time there so won’t be back. Sorry can’t recommend this place to friends and family

Dang. Not thrilled. The food was hot and that’s about all the good I can say. The burger did not taste good. Like it didn’t have taste? And the fries were soggy and COMPLETELY unsalted. They missed the toppings on one of our burgers, and they completely missed one of our orders. Out $70 for 4 very subpar meals.

We were just passing through Springfield, and looking for a place for lunch. We discovered W.F. Cody’s through a Google search. It is basically a hole in the wall bar with pool tables and all, but the food and service was like a five star restaurant. We had burgers that were some of the best we had ever eaten. The fries were delicious, and their spicy cheese curds were dynamite!! Be aware, they are serious about the spicy. The bartender/waitress was super friendly and attentive. The beer was also cold. We loved it so much that we went out of our way to stop and eat there on our way back through town four days later. Our second experience was as good as the first. We are now planning a motorcycle cycle ride to Springfield to introduce some friends to W.F. Cody’s.

Fun little dive-bar. Nice people and a good time. I’m a sports guy so the lack of sufficient TV’s was a little disappointing but the people and pool tables made up for it. Food was good and beer was cold.
