best pizza in town by far, never disappoints! anything I’ve ever had from there was phenomenal, actually. their fried dough balls are so yummy. burgers are very good too. I’ve been eating here since I was a little kid and the quality is still just as good. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

Food came out quickly; efficient service. We’ve only ever done eat-in, and it’s always nice. Great sweet tea, and the pizza is great. Cheap for what you get, and lots of options (we’ve only ordered the pizza, though, and I cannot stress enough how good the pierogi pizza is!!). Bathrooms are terrible, and everything seems to have a sheen of dust. It’s like a blast from the past, and there’s a little vintage arcade in the back, and a change machine that’s older than our entire family combined! Overall great place for when you’re passing by.

My bill came out to $71 and some odd change. I counted out four $20 notes from my purse, double counted and left it on the table for the server to take. She came by, took it, then returned saying I only placed $60 for the bill and it wasn’t enough. I asked her if she dropped a note or what happen and she said she didn’t know and that it wasn’t her money to be responsible for. Very rude, I was frustrated and told her she needed to find the money I placed because my husband and I specifically got money out of the bank ATM and knew what we had placed. She refused to work with us which caused us to fork up the extra cost. My husband’s guess was, she pocketed a $20 note when she went around the corner. Makes sense to me… I have never not tipped a server in my life until my experience here. I will not be coming here anymore. I will also add, the bathrooms here look and smell like they have never been cleaned in years.

1st time ive ever been there and pros/cons. Pros: Food was delicious and more then u pay for as far as portions, searing area is different but really neat. Cons: waitresses were all over the place/scattered when they were busy and took 15 mins to get our drinks and bathrooms need work definitely men’s bathroom for sure. Under the table where we sat wasn’t swept/cleaned. Parking lot was very dark my son tripped twice and there are 2 pole lights in far back that are broken or something. Will go again for the food just try to park near front and not a rush time/not use the bathroom.

Hand tossed pizza is thin and delicious. The red sauce is sweet, but good. The white pizza does not have a good garlic-butter sauce. It is great, but lacks a full, seasoned flavor. The frosted mugs for root beer is nice. Half pizza on Saturdays to 5 pm and Tuesdays is a good value. The restrooms date to the 1980s, I think. Try to go before or after your visit. The tables and booths are really beat and probably circa 1972.

Food is good, however the place is extremely outdated and filthy. Looks like the ceiling vents have fur growing out of and around them, which is blowing all over your food and in your lungs. Tye grease covers literally everything. The floor is covered in it. Your feet literally slide across the floor. The seating is exactly the same seating since the 1970’s. It is also covered in decades of food and drink stains and grease. The kitchen is viewable and is beyond filthy. I can only imagine the mold growing back there. The windows where you can watch the pizza being made are barely seeable through. To sum it… the place is severely negl

From an out-of-towner’s perspective, there was nothing from the outside of this restaurant to seduce us to visiting here, but it also seemed like the antidote for a chain restaurant, and that was why we gave it a try. Talk about a smart choice. Four stars instead of five, only because it feels dated, and dark inside, and may need a good polishing. On the other hand, Leah, our server was friendly and engaging, the food was quite good, and you could not beat the prices. Dinner for 2, a 1/2 pound cheeseburger, and a rib-eye sandwich, both with fries and a drink for only $24. There is an arcade in the back, which we didn’t check out. It was a good spot on the busy Route 56, if you’re trying to get out of Johnstown. If we ever get back that way, we’ll probably visit again.

Went to dinner with my family. It was busy, which is normal for a Thursday. Ordered an appetizer, a salad and a pizza. Got the pizza first, then after it was done, got the french fries, then when I said to take my salad off the bill, I finally got it, in a broken bowl no less. The fries came out different than ordered and so did my salad. Was not happy and they knew it. Won’t be going back for a long time if at all. It’s gone down hill since COVID.

If you are considering getting take out from this place.? DON’T….!!!!! Ordered 2 strombolies one was supposed to have cheese, pepperoni and pineapple… Hardly anything!!nothing on 1 side of the item… Definitely had pizza crust! They didn’t put pineapple on it. 2nd stromboli did not have what I would consider fair portions for the money.!! WARNING!!!DO NOT GET THE BLOOMING ONION.!!!! Looked like it was deep fried in 5 day old greese!!! Taste the same.!!!! Took one bite and we said that’s enough.! Yes, a person can always take items back and request new or refund but when you live 10 or so miles from a place who wants to travel the whole way back???? Needless to say we will not be making any return trips any time soon…. And we will definitely inform friends and family not to go there. SORRY, PAPPY’S but you need to get better food .!
