We had breakfast at this place. Wait staff was friendly and the order came in decent time irrespective of crowd. We had “the ultimate” the scrambled egg was amazing. Pancake was top notch perfectly baked. Highly recommend this place.

Very quick to approach and offer a seat. Coffee given in less than a minute (Taste great and fresh) Menu had lots of choices, but not overwhelming. Friendly staff and extremely clean and lite well. Food mostly especially the French toast was fluffy and I opted No Raisin or Powered Sugar. I would make it a stop on my next travels worth it. Storage is starting to overflow into Lobby area and could use some improvement there otherwise a beautiful establishment.

We’ve been to The Beach Mountain Diner in Waynesville twice now — once at the bar and this most recent visit at a table — and both experiences were nothing short of exceptional. The service has been consistently amazing, and this time, our waitress Colby took especially great care of us. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and made us feel right at home.
As for the food and drinks? To die for. We’ve tried the meatloaf, club sandwich, French dip, and the Godfather — and every single dish has been outstanding. Flavorful, hearty, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of place where you want to try the whole menu because the hits just keep coming.
From atmosphere to hospitality to the food itself, this place is a gem. Can’t wait to come back and keep working our way through the menu!

We were looking for a good brunch place, and boy did we find one. We obviously checked the Google reviews, and this place was highly rated. And deservedly so. Staff is super friendly. There was a line and a wait for about 25 minutes. Everyone was nice and friendly. Once we were seated the food came out hot and almost immediately. I would highly recommend this place.

We love exploring local dining spots when we travel. This restaurant provided great food, excellent service, and a very clean environment. We didn’t have to wait at all. The blueberry butter was delicious, and the salsa tasted fresh. There were four of us, and we all enjoyed our meals.

Your search for good food is over! Congratulations on finding one of the hidden gems of Western NC! The staff of Beach Mountain are the standard setters for hospitality and service! Of course, the cook staff are the understated stars of the show! I’ve never had a bad meal or service in my years of patronage! Keep doing what you’re doing Beach Mountain! We love it!

I love this upscale diner! They have an old school lunch counter. The menu has a large selection of breakfast and lunch items. I enjoyed the smothered beef sandwich. It was delicious! Come early for lunch because it gets very busy.

They were pretty busy when we got there so we had a little wait (not even 10 minutes) coffee and food were delicious, they also have French vanilla creamer. Very clean restaurant. Health score was 100 on our visit. Service was good too.

Good selection of breakfast options. Better than most country breakfast places. A few upscale items on the menu such as breakfast with salmon or an eggs Benedict with crabmeat. If you’ve been to an Eggs Up Grill, this is on par. We will return if we are in town for breakfast again.
