Read some of the reviews. It’s okay but not great in my opinion.
They made a decent hamburger but to be honest, nothing special about it. Bun was fresh, meat okay, but the best part to me was the ability to customize your burger with condiments of your choice, as much as you want.
Decent onion rings, but were soggy and not crispy.
Hard to screw up the service since you are basically the server. Someone takes your order at the counter and then your name is yelled out when it’s ready. You go pick it up at a different counter and then make it your way at another counter. You have to get your own drink refills.
Was here late on a Saturday night and it was busy. Hard to find a table/booth and numerous tables had not been cleaned from previous customers. Line to give your order was a dozen people long give or take. Moved fairly rapidly.
Beats a MacDonald or Wendy’s, but not by much.

This place is amazing! The burgers and fries are so good. I feel like I’m eating at a small town diner. The staff there was so friendly. I highly recommend trying this place out.

This is a locally owned business, we frequently go here, especially when we want a burger. The owners are very nice and they support the local youth tremendously. The service is always top notch and the prices are good. In my opinion, they have the best burger in town. For anyone passing through Rockwall, TX, this is like Fuddruckers before Fuddruckers ever came along. They have all of the fixings on a bar and you just pick out what you want yourself. I like this option. The atmosphere is neat, it’s been around for over 25 years. Great place to go if you want a burger and give their onion rings a try.

We came here to try out the burger and it was delicious! I loved how you get to choose your topping for your burger. There was also sauces and the ranch was very delicious! My brother got fried pickles and he said it was the best fried pickles he ever tasted. The burger was soo delicious and the meat had flavor. I would highly recommend and come back.

We’ve eaten at this burger joint many times and each time is very enjoyable. The staff are always friendly and take tour order with a smile. The atmosphere is much like a small town diner with photos of local residents, students and athletes throughout. We both had the 1/3 & 1/2 pound burger with fries & rings combo basket. Everything was delicious and absolutely no complaints to be had. Highly recommend this place to family and groups looking for a delicious meal at a reasonable price.

Excellent food! My son had the hamburger & fries and I ordered the BLT , onion rings & fried pickles. Everything was really good. Only minor complaint I had was there was only 2 pieces of bacon on my BLT…. If you order a BLT – you want more than 2 pieces of bacon…

Joe Willy’s was wonderful. We went for lunch on a Saturday, it was busy but we didn’t have to wait but seconds to get to place our order. I had the chicken fried steak, with a side salad and my friend had a burger and fries. The chicken fried steak was the best I have had in years and loved the real country gravy they had available. There was plenty of food too. The service was fantastic! These people were kind and friendly. We could eat and talk without loud music or TV’s. A very family friendly place and frankly an environment where you can have good food and conversations. Big shout out to Joe Willy’s!

I want to like this place more. Would be cool to see Robert Irvine make it over. In sports they say trust your eyes. A lot of the pictures are really greasy. Maybe clean them once a week, or once a year. The table cloths could be nicer. A business should reinvest in the look of the place every year. Burger was a bit dry this time.

Food was delicious & service was great. I live in Ft. Worth, so it’s a bit of a hike. But my girlfriend & I agree anytime we are in Rockwall we will make a stop at this place!

Tried it but was iffy based on some reviews. First, “I” had to greet the staff, for the young ones don’t have much customer friendly experience. Secondly, burger was not good, meat was “okay”, even though I asked for it extra well done and chicken fried steak, if you will, was mostly breading; what a disappointment. The fries were seasoned well, but nothing but ends. The mushrooms were nothing to rave about. Hope your experience is better, we will not be back. $50 dollars wasted but I thank you for the experience.
