extremely concerning experience.
on september 1, 2025 i purchased a milkshake from Hardee’s and discovered a bug in the cup after drinking about one third of it. this is a serious food safety issue.
i contacted the store immediately and the situation was dismissed and blamed on the drive through window. when i returned the following day the district manager was present and showed little to no concern. she barely made eye contact, remained on her computer during the interaction, and after viewing the photo stated that the bug did not even have milkshake on it. i had to explain that i had already consumed part of the product. there was no meaningful apology or urgency shown.
i meant to post this sooner but i have since moved across the country. however this experience was concerning enough that corporate should be aware of how this location is being managed. situations involving potential contamination should be handled with professionalism, care, and proper documentation, none of which occurred here.
if this matter is not addressed appropriately i will be submitting a complaint to the local health department so there is an official record of the incident.
i hope leadership takes this seriously so future customers do not have a similar experience.

On top of it being not a great place they don’t have curly hair fries . Who has heard of Hardee’s not having curly Fries? Also, and this is important.. one of the dirtiest Hardee’s I’ve ever been in poop on the walls in the bathroom

We hadn’t eaten all day. On our travels back south, we decided to grab fast food, oh look a Hardee’s. Don’t remember the last time we ever had that. Pulled through, ordered and the food took awhile to come out, but when it did, everything was piping hot! The fries were better than McDonald’s! The chicken tenders looked nothing like the picture and the grilled cheese and fresco melt we had were a bit extra buttery, but the fries were SOO good

cost-cutting on toppings, & commonly uses thin-cut hamburger patties on the signature sandwiches that are designed to feature a thicker, 100% Angus beef patty. Meat that is cooked ahead of time and is served lukewarm & stale, old fries that are poorly packaged & sometimes tossed back into the oil and reheated, soggy. Selling meat products that are not hot is considered a significant food safety and health issue. Due to negative reviews the employees don’t even want to look you in the face when ordering, they stand around sulking. Manage employee frustration over bad reviews by validating their feelings, investigating the facts, and focusing on actionable improvements.

Every time we go to the Hardee’s in Ocoee the biscuits are burnt. It used to be one of the best Hardee’s but has become one of the worst.

Awful food, absolute terrible service, was cussed out for ordered a 20 piece and fries and a couple burgers. It was just too much for the employees/cooks. Called the manager and she was making excuses for her employees. Which is crazy, I have worked in the food industry, very unprofessional behavior. Do not recommend. Worst place in the area.
