I absolutely love the Machaca, and you can only get it here!
My husband got the Bandera Burrito and loved it too. The service is always top notch, and the entire family are some of the best people you’ll ever meet. Shonda took care of us and was very nice, helpful, and attentive. We enjoy the cozy atmosphere and the music. If you want authentic Mexican in this area look no further than Soco’s!
They are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. I have been coming here ever since they opened.

This place great! When I opened the front door we were greeted by an old Mexican lady. The greeting was warm and heartfelt. The atmosphere was amazing. The food was great. This place had the most amazing mole sauce I’ve think I’ve ever had. Thank You Soco’s

Soco’s, Montoya’s, it doesn’t matter what you call them because this place is classic Mexican food at it’s finest! They’ve been around 37 years and counting serving up the most authentic, delicious dishes you’ll ever find right here in Fort Mitchell. Family owned & operated since Day 1. Their tacos, burritos, fajitas, enchiladas, and chimichangas are simply amazing. I have not had an entree there I didn’t like. Now they have Mexican pizzas & Birria items too! The staff is fantastic, always friendly, fast and caring everytime I come in for a meal with my family or friends. The margaritas are fabulous and the big ol’ beers are cold and refreshing. They are family-friendly, affordable, and on point day in & day out. You just can’t go wrong here, trust me! Please check them out. Muy muy bueno, yum !!

Smelled like cigarettes when we went in. Salsa was like stewed tomatoes. We did ask for mild, but this had no flavor.
Food left a lot to be desired. Chicken tacos leaked water out of them. Chips and taco shells were burnt. Margaritas were the bare minimum, not even a lime garnish.
My wife ordered cilantro on her tacos, and it came with a pinch on top the corn shells, but they charged us for it.
Too many choices for quality food in the neighborhood. We won’t be back. At 7:30 on a weekend night any good restaurant should be packed. They had 3 tables, and one was an employees family.

Was really delicious, huge portions. Great drinks. Mango margarita was fresh mango pulp!! Only complaint was chips seemed stale and heated over. Was early for lunch so maybe left from night before?

Fantastic margarita. Fantastic food great service friendly people. Favorite restaurant. Had the hurricane. It’s a monster come hungry. Great service. #1 Margaritas in my opinion. Shrimp dishes n more. Try the bean soup. Not traditional bean soup, but delicious. My go to restaurant for good food n value. I love to mix these salsas together. Hot mild and chunky. Chips come w/all meals.

That was the best Chile Relleno I’ve had in a very long time. You could tell it was cooked to order and not frozen. The pepper was well stuffed, and still had a bit of bite to it. The flavor was amazing. The waitress was very nice as well. I will definitely be back.

Thanks to chow down for highlighting Soco’s. Shrimp lovers the “Shrimp Fiesta Queso Dip” is a absolute must. The enchiladas and tamales were great. So much more to try so we will definitely be back.
