Palm Coast has a lot of great dining options and we were looking for a place we had not gone to before. We pulled up The Brown Dog menu from Google maps and saw they had a lot of options, including gluten-free.
We were not disappointed. The gluten-free bun on the original burger was the best! The bun tasted as good as a regular bun, even better with the non+alcohol porter beer.
We normally pass on dessert, but we were told their cheesecake was made from scratch and had to give it a try. The texture was firm, but fluffy, topped with a chocolate sauce that was definitely homemade. It was the best I’ve ever had!
We don’t eat out much because my wife loves my cooking, but we’ll be introducing our family & friends to The Brown Dog.

Really good burgers. Derive was good but didn’t get checked on enough and they didn’t seem to pay attention to good. I ordered another drink and brought me the wrong one. But all in all I would recommend this place. We will defenitly go back.

Not to many places deserve a true 5 star but The Brown Dog does. Very happy with everything! Great service too, this coming from someone who is a tough judge on service.

Got the golden ale, Dutchess Auspice Bitter, pairing it with fried mushrooms, and buffalo shrimp tacos. The ale was mixed well with the mushrooms with and without the sauce. However, the beer was okay with the shrimp taco with sour cream. I tried a bit of taco with shrimp without the sour cream making the ale blend better. Either way, I am glad another I know recommend me this location. I look forward to trying different drinks with future orders.

First time visiting after living here for 3 years. The food is amazing! I ordered a whiskey glaze burger, cooked medium. Normally when asked how I want my burger cooked I laugh to myself because it always comes out well done, regardless of how I order it. This burger was cooked PERFECTLY! To make things even better, the whiskey glaze wasn’t drowning the burger or oozing out the sides when I squeezed it. There was enough for flavor, and still be manageable. I was very impressed!
We had an appetizer of fried onion pedals with their “brown dog sauce” and it was delicious!! The sauce is similar to what other restaurants offer with their fried onions which I believe is a mix of ketchup, mayo and some seasoning for flavor. Now that Chili’s stopped offering onion pedals, this will be our go-to when we get that itch. They also offer corn nuggets which we didn’t try this time, but we will be back to try another time!!
The drink selection is fantastic! They have beers of every type and flavor, and then some. They have IPA’s, stouts, porters and exotics from local breweries and imports alike.
Tldr: amazing food cooked perfectly, great drink selection. About to become regulars!!

One of the best places in Palm Coast to enjoy craft beer and a great atmosphere. Food is excellent and so it the service. Nick the owner makes you feel very welcome. The rest of the staff is knowable about the beers they serve. They also have trivia nights on Tuesdays and have a brewers take over of the bar every few weeks. Prices are reasonable. Come on down an enjoy a beer and a burger while supporting a local business. One of my favorite places.

Always laid back and excellent. The best rotating beer selection in Palm Coast. They also have an excellent, simple menu. There is not a bad item on it. The staff is always friendly and engaging. The atmosphere is casual, never rowdy, and family friendly.

Unfortunately, I would have given this place 5/5 stars if it was not for the very unprofessional women that greeted us when we came in. We had a large party that we all happened to want to catch up for lunch. One person from our party suggested the brown dog because the food was good and it was an easy meet up spot. I’ve never been to this place until today, but as soon as we got inside… the lady behind the bar started yelling at us telling us that next time we need to call to ensure they have enough staff and that there was only one cook because the other cook had to leave on an emergency. I understand things happen and we asked if they wanted us to leave…. Instead that same lady stormed off and thankfully the lady that was actually our waitress was nicer. There were only 2 people at the bar and one table of 5 men that were finishing up their meals. It was a very awkward experience after that. The food was great. But I will not be back. If the lady didn’t yell at us and actually spoke to us like humans… I would consider giving this place another chance. I understand people have bad days, but don’t take it out on customers.
