Food has always been very good. Most of the time I carryout, but the one time I ate in I was pleasantly satisfied with the attention of the staff. Atmosphere will vary depending on where you’re seated (Sushi or Hibachi), but overall a good experience.

Went to a “more popular” place and found a 2 hour wait. Was celebrating my granddaughters 8th birthday and she was looking forward to the entertaining experience the chefs provide. Didn’t want to wait the 2hrs so we found this place. Great food, and excellent, fun service. Danny, our chef, and Ivy, our waitress were the absolute best! Very fun, enjoyable experience and my granddaughter had a blast! Will most definitely be back! There were 7 of us and the bill was about 450. That included the tips. Excellent tasty food and the fun service was well worth it!

We stopped by Naka Sushi for dinner and were served almost immediately. The miso soup was good, though the bowl was enormous! The difference between the cup and bowl sizes is unbelievable – the bowl probably holds the equivalent of 6 cups.
The staff were very friendly, and the food was good, though not exceptional. Overall, it’s a good place to stop.

Awesomeplace. There aren’t many restaurants in Albuquerque that stay open until midnight. The service was great despite the time we had gone in. The hibachi specials are worth the money you spend and you get a ton of food. If you’re between the teriyaki beef and the steak go with the beef. You’ll save $10. Definitely will be back
Came back again and it was a huge difference than the first time. We did get there kind of late. But the restaurant was super dirty and the food was very greasy. I asked for a fork and the serve picked up a random fork that was sitting out near a bunch of cleaning products. Will try again but not for a while.

BEWARE!!! Naka Sushi Owner “Will” is Conducting Fraudulent Charges to Credit Cards. I was Charged Double for our dinner On Dec. 15 2025. “Will” Told me The Best thing he Could do was for me to File a Dispute with My Bank to get the money back. I Showed him the Receipts Showing the double Charge and He Rudely Said you’ll get your Money back by filing a Dispute with my bank. I Told him I will not File a dispute because it’s not my banks issue. He Does not want to do the Right Thing and Refund what he Owes But Instead States that he will Investigate with his Credit Card Company which Did not happen. “Will” Knows he will win in the End With this Situation because It’s An Easy Fraudulent Scheme He is Guilty of And I would not Doubt he has done it before. And the Reason for this is because the Credit Card Company he Deals with are his Own Family Members. Wasn’t Supposed to Know This but was Leaked from a Worker At Naka Sushi. So People Again Please Be Attentive!!! and Take Heed before Going to this Unfair Establishment.

This is usually my favorite place to go for sushi since it’s so close to my house and they are a fair price for what you get. I feel a little disappointed recently and the quality has kinda gone down. The rice has a weird texture and there were a lot of shrimp tails in my shrimp tempura roll. I guess they also don’t include miso soup in orders and it is an extra charge now. I understand that prices are increasing for everyone, but I feel like what I paid for today was not worth it for the rolls I got

Went with my husband and a friend for a birthday dinner for the first time and was impressed. Wish I would of taken pictures of inside because it was vibes ontop of thw food being delicious. Giant coi pond waterfall feature when you walk in. We had the Green Chile Roll, Cheese Wontons, Hibachi with scallops, shrimp, steak and chicken. Mango amd strawberry nigori drinks as well. Everything was so good! Zero complaints. Will be back for sure.

This has quickly after two orders, has turned into one of my favorite sushi places in Albuquerque. I get the tuna roll and add salmon and spicy mayo and eel sauce, and it’s great. The spicy tuna roll is also good. Picked up miso for home and it was still very very hot by the time I got home.

Very fresh sushi and a wonderful calming ambiance. The service was wonderful as well. DEFINATELY going back for more. UPDATE: Tried out the new teppan grill, and had a great experience. HUGE+: THEY STAY OPEN LATE!!! We tend to be night owls… So great!
