Overall, Lebanon Cafe was great. Our server was extremely accommodating and helped us out with the menu even though we were unsure about some selections. As for the food itself, I recommend the chicken shawarma box, excellent value for great quality protein in the chicken. Coming back here.

Chicken shawarma was fantastic, very obviously fresh and tasty. Service was a bit weird and dropped the check on us in the middle of us eating and they didn’t close for a few hours so not the nicest. But the atmosphere was nice and had good music!

If you’re looking for authentic food, this is the place to go! This was my introduction to Mediterranean food many years ago, and I could never find better food than this, I tried many other places in New Orleans area. You should try their lamb with vegetables and definitely try the best Lebanese tea in town!

This place is such a hidden gem outside of the busy tourist area! The food was incredibly flavorful and everything tasted fresh. It’s also halal-friendly, which made it an even better experience. The service was wonderful—our server was so kind, attentive, and genuinely made sure we were having a great time. Between the amazing food and the welcoming service, I would definitely recommend this spot!

Quick trip to New Orleans and Lebanon’s Cafe really hit the spot. I’m often happy with less than great Mediterranean food, but there was nothing left wanting here. It was so very good. According to my friends, they’ve been serving great food since the 90s. Now you and I know that too. The place feels and tastes great. We enjoyed our food outside in beautifully mild New Orleans weather.

Must order the beef kabobs. I’m not a big steak person, but they were so good. Also, the hummus and tzatziki sauce were phenomenal. Service is great. Excellent place for a date or dinner with friends. I see why it’s so highly rated. Just skip the chicken shawarma… it was dry.

Best sandwiches in NOLA! The eggplant and grilled chicken are among our top ten sammies ever. Imagine slices of baked eggplant or chicken shawarma, layered with lettuce, tomatoes & onions, topped with feta & mozzarella, toasted on home-style French bread.
The house-made tzatziki, musaha, hummus, and beet dips are delicious. We look forward to our return visit for the jazz fest or for another travel event cycle. Highly recommend Lebanon’s Cafe! Happy Mardi Gras, all!

My husband and I went here for dinner last night and we had a great experience. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We shared a combination kabab platter and a fried cauliflower and hummus with pomegranate sauce starter. The starter came with pita so altogether, it was more than enough food for the two of us to share. We enjoyed a Lebanese iced tea with our dinner, but we do recommend asking them to cut down the sweetness with half unsweetened black tea. The staff was wonderful and accommodating, allowing us to offer our prayers in the back when the time came in. It’s also fully halal!

The food is great, beef is tender and the veggies perfectly seasoned. I will definitely be coming back here! In the pictures you can see the chicken shwarma, veggie stuffed grapeleaves, and spinach dip.

One of the best Mediterranean restaurants in NOLA. The Cauliflower Hummus app is divine! The salmon was cooked to perfection and the gyro was moist with crunchy edges. Always a wonderful choice
