The omelettes were over cooked. The grits and scrambled eggs needed seasoning. The server needed more server skills of enthusiasm. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. She checked on us twice. The atmosphere was new and quiet. Thank goodness.

My experience with this location in Gretna was absolutely amazing. We were pleasantly greeted as soon as we enter the service was outstanding. The restaurant was very well keep and very very clean. Not only did I receive amazing service in a very clean restaurant. The food was outstanding!!!!! Really didn’t expect to get such good “Hot” food!!!!! They really made my dine in experience pleasantly amazing….. Thanks a bunch to the I-Hop Team in Gretna, LA. Keep up the good work!!!!!!

June 6, 2024: Super fast service even though it seemed like there was only on server. She was fantastic! I wish I could remember her name. Fast with refills, cheerful demeanor, and good with menu changes. Food was served hot and flavor was really good.

The server was knowledgeable about the menu. More enthusiasm or smiles would have had me sold that you enjoy your career. The omelettes were overcooked. Turn down your fire chef!! The coffes didn’t taste well at all. This IHOP was very clean and up to date which made the atmosphere 5 stars. No loud thank goodness. We probably will not return if the cooking is the same.

Just left from eating at IHOP I keep going back hoping to get great customer service and once again the waitress failed me. She always has an attitude and never do what I asked to do brought me. My bill was $17.19 gave a $20 bill. She looked at me and expected more of a Tip. I wanted to ask her did you deserve a bigger tipped in which I gave you because she didn’t if you want a bigger tip give big customer service I am sick and tired of people giving bad customer Service and expecting a big reward

The food was delicious. The service was great. The only problem was the seating. The restaurant was visibly empty with at least 90% of the tables empty, yet there was almost 30 people waiting to be seated. It literally took them 30 minutes to decide to start sitting the customers. Their lack of organization was the reason why they lost two stars.

They were very busy, and I believed to be understaffed. We waited for an hour to eat, then addition 45 mins to get our food. They didn’t have silverware, so we got plasticware. Which worked. There were a few other issues, but I found it was because there were not enough employees for the number of people.

So I walked in and nobody at the counter to greet you. I waited 5 minutes before I walked to the kitchen and the lady said I will be with you in a minute. So I went back up front and about three minutes later I finally got seated. There was about 3 couples seated in the whole restaurant at this time. The coffee wasn’t the greatest. I ordered the breakfast sampler but didn’t want ham and replaced it with bacon. The food was good the water was good. The lady that served was good. So the server and the food is what gave this restaurant the 2nd and 3rd star. The place was clean and was well decorated for Christmas. I know its Christmas time but they could play a mix of music as well instead of all Christmas music.
