I would definitely visit this place to try other dishes next time.
But on a whim we thought of checking this place out !
When we entered we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and organized this place was ! Everything was in its place and the staff greeted us with a smile ever eager to help us get us what we wanted.
The dining area though small seemed very organized and inviting. .
Now about their menu.Walia serves Indian desserts and snacks primarily from North India, but also serve regular North Indian meals items and undo Chinese’s as well.
We could see a lot of traffic for the Indian desserts which we also bought and can attest to their freshness and great quality.
In addition , we also took a bunch of to-go meal items both Indian and Indo-Chinese . The photo do them justice! They were all very delicious and fresh!
I also happened to use their restrooms and the y too were clean and well maintained.
I would suggest that you go and try this place yourselves. I certainly will return!
The service was excellent special thanks to Shreya for her warm hospitality and wonderful food suggestions.
We’ll definitely be coming back. Wishing you all the best for your business!
Pure vegetarian.
Great vibe.
$60/couple
Good food!
Pani Puri – Not bad. 3 different Pani.
Chai – Okay
Mango lassi – not good
Paneer Lababdar – rubbery paneer. Didn’t absorb much of the flavor. Gravy was mediocre
Dal fry – Good
Cheese Masala Nan – Good
Cheese Garlic Nan – Good
Butter Nan – Good
Amritsari Kulche – Good
Pan – lots of variety. Okay
All of their Nans were incredibly soft. Some were slightly thicker and maybe raw-ish on inside. If they were slightly thinner, they wouldn’t be raw, and could be perfect.
Ambience: Great
Food quality and proper cooking are basic expectations, especially for fried items like samosas. I hope the restaurant pays more attention to food safety and preparation, because this experience was disappointing and uncomfortable.

This was, without question, one of the most shocking and disturbing dining experiences I’ve ever had.
We ordered several items, including:
Ferrero Rocher Milkshake
Mango Mastani
Imarti
Bhel Puri
Amritsari Kulcha Chole
Everything seemed fine until we began eating the Amritsari Kulcha Chole. To my absolute horror, I found a stainless steel nail inside the chole. A metal nail — not a spice, not a mistake — an actual dangerous, sharp object that could have seriously harmed someone had it gone unnoticed.
Thankfully, by sheer luck and the grace of God, I saw the nail in Chole. I immediately brought it to the attention of the manager. They apologized and, to their credit, did not charge us for anything.
However, a waived bill does not undo the negligence of serving potentially life-threatening food.
This isn’t just about bad service or poor hygiene — this is about basic food safety and human life. A child or elder could have swallowed that nail, and the consequences could have been disastrous.
My sincere warning to anyone planning to visit:
⚠️ Please inspect your food thoroughly before eating here.
I have also attached a picture of the nail and our bill as proof.
This level of carelessness is unacceptable for any food establishment, especially one serving families and children. I hope Gwalia takes this matter seriously and revisits their kitchen practices and quality control measures before something tragic happens.
