Very nice and homey ambiance. Food was fresh and delicious, with a lot of herbs and flavours. Taste was very authentic and the meals were nicely balanced. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and were accommodating for our special requests.

Stumbled upon this cute restaurant while on the way to catch the bus. Friendly staff. Good tasty portions. Lovely homemade fresh mocktails. The food was so light and fresh. Every dish was well prepared and so satisfying. Would definitely revisit.

As soon as I saw their menu I knew it was not the authentic Vietnamese fair that I had expected. My local friend in Stuttgart suggested it, as it got good reviews – very possibly from people unfamiliar with Vietnamese cuisine. The waitress explained to us that when they first opened, they did offer authentic Vietnamese dishes, but the locals weren’t interested, and the business got so bad that it faced closure. Since they have edited their recipes to meet the local taste, they are doing roaring trade now. Unfortunately for me, it was just about the worst meal I had during my multi-nation trip this summer (Switzerland, Germany and Ireland … seriously, these three countries aren’t on top list in the culinary hall of fame, but they all did much better than this Vietnamese representation!). Their pho came with dark brown sweet potato noodles, instead of the usual white rice noodles. I suspect that it may be hard for them to get authentic ingredients, as all of my vegetarian choices featured the same things – mostly just Tofu, even seitan, which doesn’t belong to Vietnamese food. I was super stuffed (and bored) with soybean protein that night. Their outdoor seating is pretty, but during the heatwave, not having indoor AC was also a down side.

Google asked me: how was Vietal Kitchen? Well Google, it was awesome! Shouldn’t you know? Food so tasty, with surprising flavors, and just the right amount! We loved it, number 31… chicken skewers for me, and the flaming bird for the rest of the party! Thanks guys… Too bad we were kind of in a rush, Iron Maiden Dis not plan to wait for us!

Fresh and tasty Vietnamese food. A little expensive and fairly small portions for German standards but if you don’t mind that, your taste buds will say thank you. For what I had on the pictures (homemade lemonade included) I paid 30 euros. It was really all delicious, quality has a price.
Not to mention the pleasant setting and the friendly service.
I recently went a second time and the dish I took (the salmon) was somewhat less tasty and Vietnamese style than the first time but the drink was really nice (watermelon drink)

Ambience is really beautiful and staff is very nice so the service. But, food is just normal. Over-priced restaurant. No taste in food. If you’re a fan of interior, try it. Otherwise just waste of money. Seriously, too pricy restaurant. Ordered a meal, half of the portion is just filled with leaves.

I really wanted to like this place. It’s a beautiful restaurant in a nice location. However, the food was subpar, and the menu prices seemed a bit high. The rice served with the chicken dish was tasteless. The spring rolls with the noodles and veggies were very dry. It was served with a tiny bowl of sauce. They were nice enough to give me more sauce after I asked for more though.
The service was disappointing. The server even asked if I wanted to tip. In the 14 years of living in Germany, I’ve never been asked to tip. So I was pressured to give a tip, even though I didn’t want to.
Will not come back again.

Food is very nice but could be a bit cheaper from my opinion. There are not many tables that you can sit with more than 4 people

The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is truly attentive. The food was great too and I was really grateful they had vegan alternatives since I am lactose intolerant and a pescetarian. Not to forget that the portions are good.

Overpriced Instagram Resraurant with really good and attentive service.
The restaurant is pretty, the 8€ water with ginger juice looks pretty too and tastes ok. The 9€ summer rolls (3 halfs, which had undercooked shrimp) are good but difficult to eat with all the pretty herbs sticking out 2 inches on top.
I wasn’t impressed with the duck rice noodle dish. It looked like a lot of food when it was served, but it was actually only garnish salad leaves that propped up the food off the bottom of the plate. Rice noodles were cut up short like you’d do it for child but had endless carrots and zucchini noodles throughout for looks. Duck didn’t taste like much a bit chewy, skin was gummy and soft. I didn’t finish it.
But, the servers are very attentive and very polite and the restaurant has nice interior. Unfortunately, I left the restaurant with a stomach ache.
