Amazing experience from start to finish! Huge shoutout to Glo, Tyra, the Head Chef, and Chef Tonia for such outstanding service and incredible food. Every single dish was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The whole snapper was moist, fresh, beautifully seasoned, and absolutely delicious. Chef Tonia’s collard greens deserve their own moment — hands down some of the best collard greens I’ve ever had. The shrimp chowder was rich, comforting, and full of flavor, truly hit the spot.

We also stopped by the bar for happy hour and tried the grouper sliders, which were super tasty and perfectly prepared. Glo made the BEST strawberry cucumber martini — refreshing, balanced, and crafted to perfection. You can truly tell when a team takes pride in their craft, and it shows in both the food and the service.

This place delivers not only amazing flavors but also a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, great drinks, and exceptional service. We will definitely be returning

I had a wonderful dinner last night at Reel Fish Coastal Kitchen. I enjoyed great roasted oysters and a delicious cioppino, and was happy to find a restaurant in the Orlando area that was not swarmed with tourists — this was a real find. Service was great, even on a busy Saturday night, and I planned to leave a Five Star Google Review.

So why only TWO STARS???

I made my reservation for last night through Open Table. Imagine my surprise to receive an email from Open Table this morning, threatening to cancel my Open Table account because the restaurant reported me as a ‘no show’. I’m really disgusted about this. I have my receipt (over $90 for dinner), as well as the photos attached here to prove that I was there. I am willing to update my review if the restaurant does the right thing and corrects the error in reporting this as a no show to Open Table. If not, this shall serve as a warning to others who make a reservation at this restaurant through an online reservation service. Reviews work both ways!

My friend and I visited this restaurant for Orlando’s Magical Dining and ordered from that menu. Upon arrival they did not have my reservation even through I booked it 2 days before and got the text confirmation and a call from the restaurant confirming my reservation. Anyway after that ordeal was solved we were seated at a nice table. We ordered drinks during the happy hour which was from 4-7pm I had the sunset sangria and it was refreshing! Our waitress was a pleasure really sweet and attentive because even at 6pm this place was busy! I ordered the bang bang shrimp as the appetizer and it was perfect so good and not too spicy! For the meal I opted for the red fish with grits when I tell you those were the best grits I’ve ever had! I mean that, so delicious and so was the fish, flaky and flavorful. The peppers and onions just made the dish more memorable! 10/10 for sure! My friend ordered the same meal and she loved it as well. For dessert I ordered the carrot cake it was good as well! Loved the icing. Overall service and the meal excellent! I will be back for sure well worth it!

The seafood was amazingly fresh. The staff at Lombardi seafood market recommended them. We have the ceviche, blue crab cakes and fish Reuben sandwich, and the kids menu was great real food. The food was probably the best food we’ve had out in months. The service was kind and welcoming even with a tired and hungry toddler. We will definitely come back.

The food and service were amazing…but beware of the pretentiousness of other patrons. We are frequently in Winter Park and decided to try Reel Fish Coastal Kitchen and Bar for dinner this evening. We made a reservation, showed up right on time, and were greeted nicely by a man who I believe is the owner. However, we were delayed being seated because a couple that arrived in front of us demanded a booth, even though they didn’t have a reservation and were told it would be about 30 minutes for a table…unless they wanted to sit at the bar…which they refused to do. While I was impressed with how the hostess handled the entitled attitude from the couple, i was a little taken back that this group not only demanded special treatment but also, delayed those of us that had a reservation, from being seated. None the less, we were seated promptly after about 5 minutes of waiting. The server introduced herself to us and described the amazing dishes that were being served this evening. There were so many delicious items on the menu that it was definitely hard to decide. My wife and I both placed an order for an appetizer and an entree and we were treated to regular attention by the server, making sure our drinks were always full and updating us on when to expect our food. The food did not disappoint! Everything was prepared to perfection and was easily one of the best meals we’ve had since we moved to the area a few years ago. However, partway through our meal, another couple that was being seated was unhappy with the table that the hostess assigned them and spent about 5 minutes standing not far from us arguing with the hostess trying to get a better table. Again, the hostess was extremely polite and appeared to try to accommodate them the best she could, but the couple were very rude throughout the evening and unfortunately we could hear their comments during our dinner. I hate to fault the restaurant for the patrons that expect special treatment…but maybe some better messaging about reservations vs walk-ins and special table requests could go a long way. Or maybe this is just such a great restaurant with a regular crowd that people can demand to be provided special treatment. Either way, the food and service are top notch, but just expect to potentially dine around some pompous people with entitled attitudes. We’ll definitely come back to try some of the other items on the menu…but maybe do a takeout order (or perhaps elect to be seated outside) instead of having to hear the rudeness of the other customers sitting around us.

The staff are very busy at happy hours with lots of customers; but the bartender seemed to ignore me. The foods were reasonably priced at happy hours.

Beautiful night to sit outside and enjoy some Shrimp and Grits. Lots of great seafood choices. Friendly service by Natalie. Nice background music. Would like to try the seafood boil, gumbo or cioppinno.

Simply outstanding! My wife and I like to try new restaurants. My wife googled “restaurant near me.” We made reservations on a Friday night. We were seated and remained open-minded to have an enjoyable evening. Wow! We were impressed. Ceviche-A+, Seafood fritters-A, Blackened Redfish, cheese frits & collard greens were truly remarkable. And the Seafood platter was phenomenal. Cassidy, our director of first impressions provided excellent, attentive, customer service. We were served great portion sizes. We’ll definitely return. I saw some grilled Octopus I will try next time. And we will bring others with us.

What an absolute disaster of an evening we had here. Where to begin? Arrived close to 4:45pm for happy hour where we luckily found seats at the bar. Ordered 4 items almost immediately. The first arrived incorrect as we ordered a dozen oysters, and received half. 45 mins later the other 6 arrived. At this point I was under the impression the bartender forgot the other 3 items but nope, as I noticed with everyone at the bar, we were all waiting on food that was arriving as if they were still at sea fishing items out. If not for the fact that we were all laughing and drinking about the situation we would’ve been much more upset. The couple next to us waited 2 1/2 hours for their food. Mind you we ordered minutes after sitting down and our complete order didn’t arrive til almost an hour and a half AFTER ordering. Again, we were enjoying drinks and just the overall atmosphere was still positive being that we were not alone in the mess, EVERYONE at the bar was confused and wondering why everything was taking HOURS to arrive. We finally get our food, its good, its always good, but man was this disastrous. We get our check close to 7pm now, and guess what, EVERYTHING is still on there. Unreal. Now I’m not one to complain or ask for anything free, but maybe the courtesy of taking an item that took over an hour to arrive, since we had 3 things take longer could’ve been comped. $125 after tip to wait hours for food. You know whats worst? Not a single manager/owner or anything stopped by the bar. No one. Not a single apology, explanation, or hell even an acknowledgement of what is going on. Zero sign of leadership or accountability. Maybe touch a table, let them know you appreciate them taking this all in stride, that will go a long way. Just a disaster of an evening where the entire bar is laughing at you, waiting to see if anyone is going to stop by and apologize for being patient. Nothing.
