I’m extremely sad to report that after years of coming here, I won’t be returning. Not at the fault of the food, but due to the service. Last night we received the most unexpected, terrible service I’ve gotten at a restaurant in quite a while. Now, mind you, this is a place I’ve come for years, and I’ve recommended it to countless people at this point, so they have to recognize me. I can no longer say it’s worth your family’s time to come here. Here’s what happened:
I ordered a burrito and my partner ordered 2 tacos. We paid cash, and noticed it was more expensive than usual so I checked the receipt. We had been charged 4 additional tacos. No big deal, right? Totally happens and is understandable due to being right on a busy street, and as someone who work in a restaurant as well, it’s noisy in the kitchen I’m sure. Wrong, instead of just issuing a refund for the additional tacos, the man working(who I recognize) took a step back, and proceeded to debate with my girlfriend over what she had said. His tone got nastier, and he became more disrespectful toward her to where I had to step in and say something, I couldn’t believe he was implying she was stupid and wrong when it was a simple misunderstanding. To make it crazier, the food hadn’t even been dropped yet. He continued to debate me, I asked for ALL of my money back at this point, and after much prodding, he finally gave me an actual refund.
Never coming back. El Sauz isn’t far away, and makes good burritos as well, so I’d consider taking your family elsewhere unless you want to be condescended. I’ve never brought it up because it happens, but there have been multiple incidents of bones in my food if you’re not convinced yet

Staying in Glendale for a few days. Live in Utah which has no fantastic Mexican restaurants. Boy, did I get lucky tonight! This place is the real deal. I had chicken tacos. Added avocado! Amazing!

I been coming to this place since 2017 and even after I moved from Cali in 2018 everytime I visit I must pop in and get the Carne Asada Burrito which is life. Hands down the best Burrito I’ve ever had and I live in Vegas and have yet to have anything come close to comparison. Good, fresh food. Stopped by for a couple of tacos and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my meal. Felt like a healthier option!

Stopped for Saturday evening food. Queue moved quickly and everything was cooked to order. We had shredded pork Taco’s and Beef Cheek Burrito and both were absolutely delicious! So so tasty Parking can be an issue but try and find somewhere because it’s definitely worth it!
