I enjoyed the vibes and the service. The staff experience was the best part of my experience. First time here and it wasn’t too busy. The place was clean including the bathroom. I didn’t have to wait too long for my food it came out hot and fresh. The oyster appetizer was my favorite. The crab legs were cooked well but I wasn’t a fan of the bread and the jambalaya was good. Overall not a bad meal at all and the portion size was perfect for me.

Not sure if the other reviews are real or we just went at a bad time, but at noon, lunch on a Sunday? We figured it would be somewhat decent. Our server was very sweet. They opened at 11, and didn’t have what I would consider simple things. For example, ranch dressing for a salad, nor the red beans and rice my Fiancé ordered, or a roast beef poboy her friend ordered. It would’ve been better to ask what they DID have. As far as price goes, it’s extremely expensive for lunch, a catfish plate with 1 piece of catfish and fries cost 21.99? I looked for edible gold in the catfish to justify the price. Overall extremely disappointed.

Very disappointing experience. The chargrilled oysters came out cold, which was a huge letdown. The crawfish was bland with almost no seasoning. The burger tasted like a middle school cafeteria burger with no flavor at all. My girl ordered a lemon drop and it tasted exactly like lemonade — and I don’t even like alcohol but could barely tell there was any in it. Overall the food and drinks were very underwhelming.

Also I wanted to add I felt a little sick afterwards. Not sure if it was the oysters or the crawfish but pls be careful.

Nov 2025 – Had a few very large oysters with dinner tonight. Come get some! Generous portions. Great lunch specials. Their fried catfish is crispy, flavorful and large filets. My favorite catfish in the city. Live music on Sundays is also a really fun way to wrap up the weekend!

My aunt was visiting from out of town and saw the sign in front advertising chargrilled oysters and wanted to eat here, so we came. She got the stuffed peppers, I got the blackened salmon and we shared a dozen oysters. Friendly employees, quick service, good food.

Great spot in Nola and we are very thankful they hosted our family, following not one, but two funerals.

I was looking for some great creole food and from reading the reviews I thought this local place would be it, but it fell way short. Should have known from the place being empty. Stuffed mushrooms were all bread and the crawfish eggrolls were basically corn wraps. After trying those 2 dishes we went elsewhere. Didn’t seem like it was going to get any better.

The food here is pretty good in general, but we especially love to come here during crawfish season. I believe it’s a family owned restaurant, and the staff is pretty great. We always have really good service. At times they have live music, which is great, but if you want something quieter, you can sit in the back of the restaurant, even with the live entertainment and still easily have a quiet conversation. During crawfish season, this is a must.

Me and my family was excited to go to this restaurant, when we got there the host was not welcoming at all , we sit down the seats was horrible I thought we was going to fall through the seat , I ordered the stuff bell pepper plate and that was the most nastiest pepper i ever tasted, the waitress was nice enough to take it back and I got the stuffed crab that was okay, my daughter had the shrimp pasta and fish the pasta was horrible the fish was good , everything from walking into this place to the food was just terrible, I will never ever go back to this place again I felt like we wasted $100 on nasty food!! I didn’t take a pic of the bell pepper plate I had to hurry up and send it back that’s how nasty it was!!
