The food is okay. The bread that comes with the table is soft but the sauce isn’t anything special.
The garlic bread’s toppings taste the same as little Caesar’s crazy bread. Whether that’s good or not you can decide.
Maybe an off day but my risotto was overcooked akin to a tomato porridge. Otherwise the risotto tasted okay but the texture was off.
The lamb is flavorful, the wine comes out clearly in the sauce. Most dishes were just okay tasting, service was also okay, at least you can get fresh shredded Parmesan and ground pepper.

My parents and I decided to go to Buon Appetito for my dad’s birthday and it’s one of the best Italian restaurants in Hayward. Pretty well setup inside especially with how utensils, glasses, napkins, and plates are organized. It also looks nice inside especially at a larger dining area where there weren’t anyone there when I got here. They also have a patio too, but no one goes outside since it’s cold now.
The food is really delicious here. We were given normal sized plates and I’m surprised that the food seems small from the outside but volume of it says otherwise. It could be the ingredients that they used to make our meals.
I seen dishes like Fettuccine Alfredo and Spaghetti Bolognese, which are very common dishes, but I don’t want either of them. So I got Fettuccine alla Friuliana. It’s mostly fettuccine with Italian sausages and tomato sauce. That dish really hits the spot especially when cheese makes it more flavorful. I also tried my parents’ dishes and they’re as good as the one I got.
For dessert, we got tiramisu. I love how it sprinkled with cocoa powder I believe as well as topping it off with some sort of cream I think. They actually blend well with that dessert. Honestly, they should have but it in a smaller plate to match the food-to-plate ratio.
Overall, it’s one of the best Italian restaurants out there. If you’re looking for Italian cuisine here in Hayward, this is one of the spots I recommend coming into. You won’t be missing out!

The service is excellent, although the parking lot was small, this place is great for when your craving authentic Italian cuisine. My friend and I got the same dish the sauce and pasta is out of the world and comes out piping hot. Also unlimited bread and sauce. Would love to come back to try other menu items

The star of the meal was definitely the homemade ravioli—perfectly tender pasta filled with so much flavor, you can tell it’s made with care and tradition. Easily the best ravioli I’ve ever had! We’ll definitely be coming back again soon.

Today I had a rough day so I decided I’d go out to eat, on a sorrowful empty and exhausted stomach. I was revived by Haywards Buon Appetito. This Italian restaurant exhibited every ideal trait I can name. The food was made timely, the restaurants interior lobby drowning in the feeling of home and Italy, music perfectly somber and guests respectful, not loud and obnoxious. The man next to me left a $40 tip for a $20 meal. As it should be for places of this personality. The team only talked to me when I needed, otherwise leaving me alone to soak in the flavors of my youth. Pasta 10/10 replacing the pork with chicken for my dietary restriction, and the salad was amazingly fresh, lacking some vinegrette for me, but that’s no problem as I was provided with my own to use. Can we also mention the fact that the owner is working as a chef, and a server? While his wife is also here working. This food encompasses love. Anyone who wants to have Italian dinner or lunch come here, come one come all. To buon appetito in Hayward CA.

Food was okay, pasta was 6/10 its too much sauce on it and less seafood on it. Calamari was 8/10, taste good but serving was really small for the price. Pizza was 5/10, I wouldn’t order it again. Husband got the pasta meatballs it was 6/10 it’s too much sauce on it that it looks like a soup already. We didn’t finished the meal. Service was good, checked us 3x. Atmosphere was okay, we seated on the back, walls and corner where we sat down was a little dirty.

We came here for the early bird special to acknowledge 138 years for Eden Parlor NSGW. Food was good I got the chicken, my husband got the steak. Salad and dessert were included.

I hosted a luncheon for 37 women yesterday. Martino and the staff were fabulous. All the food was wonderful. Everybody was happy and planning to come back there on their own.
