Worst Customer Service – Disappointed when it comes to food quantity. For $15 they filled only 50% of the box – Street side Veg Fried Rice;

When called about the issue (one of the guys from the restaurant spoke), they checked with the Chef & they said, the chef fills a minimum of 85% of the box. When I said that was not the case (they went back to chef again), they said that they’d fill it up full next time. What about this time where they failed to offer the money’s worth ? No answer, and I said I’d bring back the dish back for a refund.

Took it back to the restaurant (yes, took the effort to drive all the way back to show them the proof) for a refund, where they adamantly said it’s only that much they’d fill the box – complete contradiction to what was said on the phone (85% fill up) compared to quantity (50%) in the box right in front of his eyes. Despite me showing the pictorial comparison of Kofta Briyani ($14 – 100% box filled) and Veg Street Side Fried Rice ($15 – 50% box filled), he wouldn’t accept their mistake. I even pointed out that few months ago when I ordered the same dish, box was 100% filled up. It suddenly reduced in quantity this time. I requested to take back the dish and provide a refund. Matter would have been closed if they refunded for their mistake. Nope, no truth will make them budge.

Compare the quantity fill (the height) between Kofta Briyani & Fried Rice in the picture uploaded. Kofta Biriyani is the dish with lots of gravy at the top, while the other is the Fried Rice

This is total disrespect & feel disappointed as they don’t seem to honor the worth of the money paid. I told them to forget the refund, instead offer the fried rice to someone in the restaurant or donate to someone. It’s not worth arguing this much over $15. While I was about to leave, he pleaded to compensate by offering 2 Mango Milkshakes. Told them I’d NOT eat them, sanctity of the food is already lost over the argument & un-acceptance of the truth over the quantity of food for the worth of the money.

I’m one completely disrespected & unhappy customer, NEVER to return.

On the positive note, Kofta Briyani on the same order however was filled 100% of the box & the taste was good.

Dined here for the 2nd time within the past month or so! (I usually order up to $200 of take out and have been doing that since the COVID pandemic)! Anyway, I was on my way home from work and was CRAVING their delicious food, so I stopped in this past night at around 8:30 pm (Wed. 3/4)–so glad I did! I ordered Green Chilli Gobi, Mutton Sukka and Garlic Naan, for starters! Then for entrees, I ordered Goat Fry Biryani, Dal Tadka, and Kheema Dosa! EVERYTHING WAS SO SPECTACULARLY FRESH, FLAVORFUL AND MIND BLOWINGLY DELICIOUS!! The place – at this late hour- was about half full in the front dining area–I was the only non-Indian diner there(so I loved that)! The service was quick, pleasant, accommodating and efficient!! This place deserves a 5-star rating, given that they’ve been around a long time, have a strong and loyal Indian following and have a huge, interesting, exotic and DELICIOUS menu!! I will DEFINITELY be back!

Under new ownership.
I’ve tried indian food before i’m not gonna say i’m a connoisseur. But for my taste buds, this is some of the best, chicken, and shrimp that i’ve had in a long time.
Also if you like Jack as much as I do, try it with this cola, less sweet then coke with no loss in flavor and I do believe it feels more fizzle then coke.

We celebrated a friend’s birthday here and had a wonderful time. The food and ambience were fantastic. We especially loved when they played the Happy Birthday song for us—it made the moment even more special. This was actually the fourth time we’ve celebrated someone’s birthday here, and it never disappoints. Thanks again for the amazing food and excellent service! ❤️

This food is bomb-diggity. I got the butter chicken because I’m a gringo with an early flight staying in the hotel next door. The folks complaining are looking for a handheld cultural experience; that’s not what they do. They cater to people who understand the cuisine, yet it is still approachable for the Anglo-American pallet. The food is good. The service is good if you know what you like. And they’ll pour you a very good whiskey while you wait. 10/10 – would munch again. I’m glad i didn’t trust the negative reviews.

Upon eating at Hyderabad house twice the past two weeks, let’s just say service was beyond terrible. Day 1 we left a video review and ordered extra to go due to the food making up for it. A very wholesome moment at the time. Coming back was the biggest mistake we could have ever made. Dining in we received (4) different meals that weren’t ours. FOUR different meals FOUR different times. Again, if food is ok not an issue. THEN comes the hair. Hair in my Butter chicken. DISGUSTING. UNSANITARY. BAD SERVICE. How it was handled. Atrociously. He didn’t even let us thumbs down the service after paying. They’re sneaky in that manner (the owner and his employer). In short… don’t let the taste blind you by how UNSANITARY and unprofessional this establishment is. Yes, the owner was there to assist in a non chalant manner as well. We regret our positive review and won’t be returning to this location. BEYOND DISAPPOINTED.

Upon dining at Hyderabad House twice in the past two weeks, we experienced consistently poor service. On our first visit, issues were overlooked because the food was good. Returning was a mistake. During dine-in service, we were served four different incorrect meals, four separate times. While mistakes happen, this level of disorganization was unacceptable.

The final straw was finding hair in my butter chicken, which is a serious sanitation concern. What made it worse was how the situation was handled — dismissively and without accountability. Even after paying, we were not given an opportunity to properly address the service issue.

Do not let the taste overshadow the unsanitary conditions and unprofessional service at this location. The owner was present but the response remained nonchalant. We regret our earlier positive review and will not be returning.

I ordered mutton sukka and it was a very disappointing experience.

Earlier, this dish used to be good. However, for the past one month, I have ordered it a few times and faced the same issue every time. The mutton is extremely hard and chewy, and it feels like it is not cooked properly. Even the boneless pieces are very tough and difficult to eat.

Because I had already faced this problem before, I specifically mentioned in the order comments to cook the mutton well this time. Unfortunately, the request was not followed. It feels like the food is prepared the same way every time without considering customer instructions.

I kept ordering again hoping the issue would be corrected, but it did not improve. Because of how hard the meat was, we could not finish the dish and it felt like a waste of money.

Overall, the quality has dropped a lot recently. Ignoring customer comments and sending poorly cooked food is not acceptable. Due to these repeated issues, I have decided not to order from here again.

The Haleem was rich, creamy, and perfectly slow-cooked with balanced spices and tender meat. Service was quick, staff attentive and welcoming, and the price felt very reasonable for such quality.
