Absolutely a wonderful place to eat. Fresh and homade food and homade pies with top notch quality down to earth small town service. I had the lemon pepper grilled haddock with homade tater salad and fresh cut off the cob sweet corn and to top it off with homade banana cream pie.

Just go if you haven’t been!
The dining room is old, ignore it and look past it! Its clean! I still gave it 5 stars because the atmosphere includes the fun vibe of owners and staff and coolers full of homemade desserts. Food is homemade and really good. Love breakfast here, especially blueberry pancakes and potatoe pancakes. Warm cinnamon buns are the best! And try the grilled cheese pizza sandwichs. Or.. just go for dessert.
Have an event? Pick up a homemade pie and you can bake it at home, or buy one ready! Prices are absolutely lower than anywhere ! The owners need us all to eat there more often. Times are tough! This is one of the last places to eat in the area! Please go here !!!

Absolutely love Meeders – and have for literally decades.

The service is great, and we often have Phillip waiting on us. He is extremely nice, hardworking and really cares about the customers.

Have NEVER had a bad meal here and the pies are delicious.

While we are living in different times, the prices have jumped a great deal. We appreciate the fact that is noted on a sign as you come in, which explains the situation in an up-front way.

It may have been on the menu, but we were a bit surprised about not only the degree of the prices increases, but then additional charges to each cheeseburger:

Lettuce – $0.50
Tomato – $0.50
Onion – $0.69

Lunch for two:

2 Cheeseburgers/Fries
1 Cup of Soup
2 Pies a la mode

2 Waters

Total: $44.89 (2 Seniors)

Might be good to simply add the typical items you might put on a cheeseburger to the regular price. Perhaps it’s just a psychological thing, but the increased prices, coupled with additional charges/amounts actually doesn’t look good. Paying an additional $1.38 for one slice of onion on a couple of cheeseburgers, might send an unintended message.

We have seen restaurants that will do these kinds of things, and it sends the wrong message. Another place where we dined often, literally charged $1.00 for a glass of water. Had they simply increased prices on the food to what was needed for them to properly run the business, they would’ve been fine – but they actually lost a lot of business and subsequently closed. There were many complaints about that specific things. Perhaps they were trying to simply do the right thing in order to handle the costs, but the way they did it, hurt them. People are disappointed at the prices, in general. That is just a fact of life at this time. It’s less a matter of that fact, and more of an issue of how it can be handled and not create further aggravation, and the word of mouth that goes along with it.

It’s just an issue of optics, that can be easily fixed.

We always tip well as we always have a great experience.

Sending along this feedback as a suggestion in hopes it’s helpful.

The place is like home to us, we love the food, service and hometown experience – and the pie!!!

The thanksgiving dinner was honestly the best turkey, potatoes, stuffing, gravy, and cranberry sauce combo I’ve had in years. All of it clearly home made, every component as good as the next. The surprise carrot cake had a ripple or cheesecake through it – amazing.

100% worth the stop on the way through on I90.

This will be a long one!!! I have based this review off of two trips to this establishment. The first visit was a Mothers Day brunch, what a disaster that turned out to be. The food was absolutely atrocious and the service was sub – par at best. I paid almost 140 dollars plus an 18% gratuity for 5 people to eat undercooked food that my son choked on with no compensation offered. Only at check i was offered to leave a tip on top of the gratuity I already paid. So fast forward a year or two later. We decided lets give them a second chance. We were not greeted or sat which is fine but at least say something like seat yourself. We ordered our food 4 of us, my wife got a club sandwich , one son got a bacon cheeseburger , one son got a Stackhouse burger , and I ordered the sausage sub with peppers and onions. They brought out the boys food first which i commend because kids should get there meal first. My one sons burger was suppose to have Swiss on it, once it was discovered the waitress took it back and brought it back out within 5 minutes. There is no possible way they replaced his burger especially when I could see the shreds of Cheddar still under the Swiss cheese and it was extremely dry. My other sons burger came out with bacon that was so burnt the entire table could smell it and it made him not want to eat his food at all. We ordered them a basket of fries to share and they forgot them but placed a small pile of greasy fries on the one sons plate. All of our fries had a pile of grease on the plate underneath them. My sausage sub tasted like it was parboiled for hours almost mushy, but they managed to burn it so bad on the outside to represent that it was grilled. Also the waitress brought us plenty of tartar sauce ( honest mistake) but when I walked up to exchange it for the ranch cups we ordered, I witnessed the cook or owner not sure which one, call all the waitresses in the back to tell them cheddar comes on the Stackhouse burger. He was wrong because the menu clearly stated Swiss. Sad part is the cook or Owner chose to put out all this food that looked and tasted absolutely terrible and then tried to blame his wait staff for his incompetence, shame on you. Also i don’t want to hear we were busy, there was two tables of two and a guy at the counter and my family of 4. Do not go here they do not care. If they did they would have never sent food like that out to a paying customer. So for lunch I paid 86 dollars and some change with tip for four meals that were basically inedible. Meeders I hope you see this and do better because you are suppose to be a community staple, after these experiences I would rather eat elsewhere.

Great food, excellent service. The waiter checked on me multiple times without being annoying about it! There was more food than I could finish.

We bought tickets for a chicken barbecue, held on September 7, 2025 at the Greene Township municipal building on Tate Rd in Erie. This was a benefit for the Greene Township Parks and Recreation Committee. It was catered by Meeders!! The food was fantastic, we even got a flavor of iced tea that I had never had before! It was very good also!
We totally enjoyed our meal!!
Can you tell me what flavor of tea was served?

As we walked into Meeder’s it took me back to a diner we had back home. From the painted panel walls, counter with swivel stools to the handwritten menu boards. I was automatically hungry for a hot beef from all those years ago. After a quick glance at the menu I knew what I was having. Roast Beef of course It did not disappoint either!! We are not from anywhere around here but a co-worker told my hubby they had the best pie. I won’t hesitate judging that. Huge piece of pie for $4. I wouldn’t say the best I’ve ever had but definitely a top 10. You won’t regret trying a piece!!!

Delicious Meal at a Great Price! Was very pleased with our meals. Steak salad was very good. Fries were fresh cut. Highly recommend the house dressing. It’s homemade. Cherry pie was very good. Enough to feed two. Will definitely be stopping by again.
