Went at about lunch time and got the Mexican Grilled Chicken with an apple juice to drink. The chicken was cooked very well and seasoned nicely, I substituted the cilantro lime rice for Mexican rice which was extremely bland. I didn’t eat the grilled veggies, brought them home for another time but the seasoning from them that got on the rice tasted good. The menu said the chicken was topped with salsa and pico but it came out absolutely smothered, I took off all of it as it was just excessive. The free chips taste fine the salsa is okay as well. I would rate higher for the food but the rice was just so unflavorful and the salsa was just insane. The service was very very good, the atmosphere was not enjoyable, I did come at lunch time which helped improve the experience as there were no crowds.

Very clean, amazing food. Our server was amazing, very sweet and friendly! We both got the build your own, the enchiladas were very flavorful, and melted in your mouth. The tortilla soup was very delicious. It tasted exactly how you’d want it to. And the salad with spicy avocado ranch dressing was so good. Will definitely go back!

Food was good service was GREAT! Super clean and friendly staff. If you have food allergies it’s the old way of a list and the menu and compare… but do able! Clean restrooms perfect place for good drinks and food. Highly recommend!

Great location! Our original plan was to go to the Cheesecake Factory, but it was an hour wait for 2. We were hungry. So we went across the street to On the Border. We were seated right away. Our waitress was very attentive and our food came out very quickly! Delicious as always! This will be on our radar in the future!

First time visiting and I must say I really appreciated everything about my experience. I’m definitely one who will take the advice of previous customers when considering patronizing and let me say their experiences and opinions didn’t disappoint. I did have a small wait time but I’d rather wait until called than to take the risk of eating old food. BUSY = FRESH FOOD imo so a little wait time will gives me a chance to glance the menu. WIN WIN. Shown is what I order, what I paid (fair price for the serving sizes) and what was left. I definitely took that first class flight and landed safely. I will be back

Went here a couple weeks ago with my boyfriend after shopping at the mall; the service was great and the food was delicious! The chips were huge that came with the complimentary chips and salsa.
Our entrees were very filling and delicious and we tried some peach iced tea and mango iced tea (my personal favorite of the two) and they were great!
Though we were stuffed, we managed to leave some room for dessert. So glad we did because the strawberry cheesecake bites hit the spot!
We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Let’s begin by saying our family loves On the Border. But today was not good. I chose here, for my birthday meal. We got sat immediately, waited forever, finally got our server who was definitely overwhelmed. No help from anyone. Our fajitas did not sizzle as they came out and were cold. Yes, cold. Our seat was so sticky we stuck. $80 bill and just was not a good experience. Pre bus your tables.

TLDR: If you like on the border in general, you’ll like this location. It’s clean, the staff and service are/is good, and the quality of the food is pretty consistent.
I ordered an iced tea- my friends ordered some mixed drinks- all of us enjoyed what we got.
We ordered some guacamole for the table. It was super bland but we asked for our server to bring some salt and pepper, and that was enough to make it palatable and tasty.
My favorite thing about On The Border in general is the chips and salsa. I have been known to call into the location closer to where I live and just order a bag of chips and salsa to go They’re so addictive! The salsa is just spicy enough you have to eat another chip with more salsa on it to cook your tongue, as the first bite of that salsa is refreshing somehow, but then quickly moves to hot.
I came with friends who split some appetizers- a quesadilla, nachos? And flautas? I forgot to take a photo of the menu so I’ll have to assume what they got but they seemed to enjoy it.
I got the Grilled Shrimp with Lime Chimichurri Border Bowl (served over cilantro lime rice, black beans, pickled red onions, toasted corn, queso fresco, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, lime crema and sliced avocado.) it was pretty good- on par with other “power bowls” I’ve had at other restaurants. Everything tasted fresh, the shrimps were cooked really well, and the chimichurri sauce was delicious. It was filling enough as well!
Overall a good location and in a pinch, when I’m not looking for authentic Mexican, this is a great place to bring friends.
