The food was great. I sat at the bar so there was no waiting for a Sunday morning. The staff missed the mushrooms (capped) in my hash brown order though. This is the first time that I’ve had an mistakes in my order at a Waffle House. Normally they’re perfect. I can only give three stars for the atmosphere because it was a little bit dirtier than the normal Waffle House experience (broken egg shells on the floor for example). I did enjoy my breakfast though and my waitress was super nice.

Great waffle house experience and came with some first timers! Stopped by on a busy Saturday morning post Jazz Fest and didn’t wait longer than 10 minutes for a table. Staff were so friendly and patient and our food was delicious. Hot and fresh, perfectly seasoned, and everything came out just as ordered. No Waffle House where we all live and this was the best treat before heading home!! We even bought a mug, only $5, as a souvenir and reminder of our great time.

I went in there yesterday, this lady server came over and never greeted me just ask for what I wanted to drink I told her coffee. She comes back to get my order and I start telling her my order, I like my eggs over easy so I say I want my eggs over easy and she says “we only have over medium” might I ad she’s talking to someone that has about a 20 year background in cooking food, serving food and I’m currently a tipped employee( we tip good) i says we’ll that’s the way i always order them, she didn’t say anything do I proceeded with the rest of my order and I ask her to bring the grits out before the rest( it never came) I didn’t say anything the whole visit but that was the worst show of customer service I believe I’ve ever seen. The lady never greeted me it was, we don’t serve over easy eggs here. I’ve ordered my eggs like this for many many years and have never had trouble much less the way she carried herself. I believe customer service isn’t her bag. I don’t even want to say what ivreally think but I will just leave this right here( I’m a Caucasian male in his 50’s and she s and African American lady in her early 20’s. She judged me as soon as I walked in the door like her time wasn’t worth mine. Well let’s see, I think I do alright for myself and was decked out in all addidas gear so I wasn’t dressed poorly. This lady has no business in customer service period. I’m the type of person that would feel guilty not leaving a tip and I almost didn’t tip her because of how she served me but I split my feelings with her tip and gave her 2 dollars. I know my one tip isn’t going to affect your day younglady but you turn tables, those tables pay your salary. Get it together younglady and if you dont care for Caucasian people your in the wrong business.

One of the busiest but most efficient Waffle House restaurants I’ve ever been in. These folks run a tight ship. Very small wait for a table but Hollie came over, took our order very efficiently and was very helpful when I forgot my Chili for my scattered and well done hash browns. Food almost immediately began coming out and they worked their feet off insuring those waiting were seated in an acceptable and organized manner. Made me a happy man. I was severely craving Waffle House and was worried about the wait but honestly within minutes we were seated.

Even though it’s take-out only after 9 p.m., that’s not a problem. I was at the hotel across the street and decided to get some waffles around 1 a.m. and they had us RIGHT. 24/7 America is barely hanging on, so the employees keeping it alive deserve to be treated with respect and good pay!

The food really is good! But workers are very nosy and impolite. They fight each minute and yelling at each other. No top of blaming on each other, no respect that people are eating and need piece. I am so disapointed not to come back. The manager need to address issues with workers .
