We waited over an hour for our food. There may have been 10 other customers total in the store. When we finally got my food, my carnita tacos were dry, the refried beans have sat so long they were drying out. It was not hot.. I added queso to my carnita to try and give it a little moisture. I could not even finish my meal.

Husband got a 6oz sirlion. Steak was wet and flavorless. His beans were undercooked, his silverware was filthy and he was served a hot dog bun….
We laughed at the hot dog bun but I gave it a try. It was covered in butter but tasted like yeast. Which tells me it was more than likely stale and old.
My burger and fries were decent. My only complaint was the bun. My bun was tiny. Again it looked like a walmart $1.25 bun. And compared to the size of the burger it was comical.
Overall total for a wet steak, undercooked beans, dirty silverware, and a stale hot dog bun???

I was so excited to see a Tumbleweed – I hadn’t been to one in years! It was the middle of the afternoon and the bartender was super sweet and didn’t make me feel like I was bothering her, so it was a lovely experience…but the menu isn’t what it used to be. The whole appeal was that you could have combos with steak or ribs and the Tex mex items, but now you have to choose! The nachos were fine, but it was a bit disappointing compared to past options.

This tumbleweed restaurant is located on the outskirts of Shepherdsville, and has been feeding the community for over 10 years
My family has been eating here for over 9 years and we have noticed a slow decline in service and quality for a long time.
I even have a incident a few years back was on my birthday. We went for a large party, and the waitress spilled a whole tray of drinks on my back and made me drenched with soda and I was miserable.
We returned today for my father’s 84th birthday. I told the waitress it was his birthday and she didn’t have anything special for him. What a disappointment.
The waitress was brand new just off of the truck and didn’t even know what she was doing. She put our order in and then come back 20 minutes later and asked questions about it when there was nobody in the whole restaurant and we should have been receiving our food.
Even though there was not a single other person in the restaurant, it took 35 minutes to get our food, which is totally ridiculous
There was not a single person in this restaurant for a long time. It was about 130 on a Saturday. This restaurant must be failing because of lack of attendance.
I ordered this day, the small 6 ounce sirloin. It was tender and delicious with their custom bourbon sauce, which is my favorite.
Our food was hot and delicious and I have absolutely no complaints about our food
Except that they charge 379 for one soda
They now offer apricot salsa, which I thought was yummy and delicious, and was unique to their offerings
The meal for three people was is $58
The inside of the restaurant seem clean, warm enough and was Pleasant

We had Kenzie as our bartender first, she was fun and outgoing and kept up with service quite well, definitely should go say hi and give her your business. And then we finished the night out with Haley, she was busy serving tables while she was bartender, but she kept up with top notch service with a killer personality to match, definitely the type of bartender that you want to have on a regular basis. Overall it was a good time and we all had fun.

I visited this restaurant with my family today and was immediately concerned after seeing a red health inspection notice posted on the window. Despite that, we decided to give the place a chance. When we asked the waiter about the notice, they had no idea what it was or why it was there, which was concerning.
After being seated, we waited for about 15 minutes without a single person stopping by to take our order, offer drinks, or even acknowledge us — despite multiple staff members walking right past our table. We finally decided to get up and leave. I even tried calling afterward to speak with someone, and no one answered the phone.
This experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Between the unanswered questions about the health notice and the complete lack of service, I won’t be returning, and I hope management addresses these issues immediately.

Burger was great. Fries were good but plain. Tumbleweed was clean and the staff were welcoming and professional. The fajita meat was cooked just right.
