First let me start by saying, we knew with yesterday being Mother’s Day, it would be busy. To make a long story short, it took us about 40 minutes to be seated. We had a party of 13. My husband & I arrived 30 minutes before everyone to get a table. They ran out of clean dishes. Took forever for our drink order to be taken. Once the food order was finally take, it took over an hour for us to receive our food. The fries were too salty, could not eat them. My husband’s Poboy was wrong, but didn’t complain because we had just waited an hour for our food. My daughter’s grilled shrimp was too salty & she was not able to eat it. To top it all off, they ran out of food & didn’t bother telling me something was being substituted until I asked. People who came in after us received their food before us. Likewise, we started receiving our food before others that were seated before us. Our drinks were refilled only once the entire time we were there.
I live in Mobile & I’ve eaten here several times. This is by far the worst service & food I’ve had there. They were understaffed for the Mother’s Day crowd. It seemed to be unorganized. Almost like they didn’t expect a crowd like that for Mother’s Day.
I’m not saying I’ll never go back, because in the past, everything has been great. I won’t be back at a busy time like Mother’s Day.
