Been here many times, but never reviewed until now.
Also, it appears it has changed “hands” again.
It’s located in a quiet spot off 75th and Neiman in Shawnee.
And it appears it does does a ton of take out verses eat in on a Monday evening.
None of us raved about last night’s dishes. My husband use to love this place.
You have to decide for yourself.

We ordered the Vermicelli with Grilled Seasoned Pork, Vegetables and Egg Roll, Clear Noodle Soup with Seafood, Hue Style Noodle Soup (Spicy), Rice Noodle Soup with Meatballs, and Rice Noodle Soup with Sirloin Steak and Meatballs. The broths of the soup dishes were on the sweeter side. The pho broth was warm rather than hot. Taste-wise, none of the dishes stood out at all. One positive was that our dishes came out in under 10 minutes.
The prices are good, but you could argue that the portions weren’t very large. They have a boba-making machine that is really loud and should ideally be placed away from the customers. The restrooms were very dirty. I think this was the first time I’ve been at a Vietnamese restaurant where the waitress didn’t speak Vietnamese.

As a relatively new resident of the Midwest, I haven’t found my favorite pho place… until NOW!! Blown away by how good the #14 was as well as the pork egg rolls & pina colada boba. OMG. Honestly, it’s better than my previous favorite place in Utah. Can’t wait to try the chicken pho next time. 10/10!!

I used to be a long term repeat client of Pho Good. Ever since they sold the business several years ago the food and service has gone down hill significantly.
If you enjoy spring rolls with day old shrimp, old noodles and iceberg lettuce, then you’ll be happy. For me I was disappointed in the lack of herbs, fresh vegetables and fresh shrimp was a disappointment. When I mentioned the disappointment to the staff, they tried to say it was always like that. I’ve been going to Pho Good longer than they’ve worked there…
If you enjoy flavorless Pho broth with no substance then you’ll enjoy their Pho. Personally for me I had to add Hoisin and Sriracha to even make it someone flavorful. They definitely lack Pho star anise flavor.
It seems like they are cutting costs and very cheap now.

I’ve never tried Pho in my life so I really wanted to try something new and different. Especially with the dreary weather. It was such a great way to warm up. As soon as I walked in, it was a calm and serene experience. The music definitely sets the tone and welcomes you to relax.
I was seated right away, the staff was very friendly and made you feel at home. I ordered the Pork Egg Rolls as an appetizer along with the Pho Good Special.
The egg rolls were piping hot and delicious. The sauce the came with it was the perfect combination of sweet and sour.
The Pho Good Special was savory! It contained flank steak ,meat balls, brisket and tenderloin. It was such a perfect way to warm up in the pouring cold rain today.
They also had bubble tea drinks, I did not get one but when I come back I’m definitely going to grab one to go!
I wish I would have gotten my servers name. She was an absolute sweetheart.

Had to change my rating after my visit there today.i did an order to go of the Chicken Pho. The broth was full of oil. And stained the container and the fork yellow. If staff wasn’t busy sleeping in booths maybe they could take the time to make good food When I called they just said they would let the kitchen staff know. No regard for my terrible order. After looking at some other recent reviews it looks like it changed management. So for those reasons I will never go back. There are plenty of places I can get good Pho from.

I live up by the airport but I was in the area and searched for a Vietnamese restaurant. I’m always on the hunt for a spring roll. The gentleman who took my order was very nice and busy cleaning. There were quite a few people there. I have to say I was not in the least attempted to eat there. So the spring roll were wrapped perfectly and the peanut dip that accompanied it was great. The only problem was the inside of the spring roll was mostly rice noodles. I was really missing the mint and the basil. Such a shame. Whoever wrapped that is talented. I hope they see this and make a real Vietnamese spring roll in the future. I love noodles so it wasn’t completely wasted on me but it sure could have been a whole lot better.

Something has changed at this restaurant in the last year and it’s no longer as authentic as it used to be. It’s still good, but it’s much more americanized pho food now. The shrimp spring rolls also aren’t as good as they used to be. On the other hand service was very good.

This is my own bowl & half eaten , My fiance & I ordered pho to go just before they closed. It was very delicious!! Very good portions. Definitely would recommend & will be eating here again. (We’ve tried many pho places in KC & MO this is in top 2)
