I ordered the chili relleno with green sauce on top. Congratulations, this was by far the best chili relleno I have had in a while. The egg was light and airy. Then matched with a poblano pepper and melted cheese. Thank you for a great experience. Went here because the locals suggested it. 10/10

Ordered shrimp fajitas with extra beans instead of tortillas. They brought me out four extra sides of beans! I had to tell the waiter to stop bringing them because I was getting full. very friendly server and lovely atmosphere. Food was good too and came out very fast.

Decided on a sit down lunch as we went through town and was not disappointed with El Erradero! The salsa was fresh, delicious and had great spice levels. The margarita with salt and tajin was perfect. I had Tacos al carbon and wished I had ordered another for dinner! Sons has the street tacos and Camerones al milo de ajo…both exceptional amd fresh! Definitely recommend and will be back again!

I visited El Erradero last night with a large group of sixteen others. I have to say this was hands down a GREAT choice. The staff were so accommodating and were not phased by this large group. The service was friendly and fast. All of the dishes ordered were getting standing ovations. The chili Colorado burrito was HUGE and came with rice and beans and the bill only came out to $12. My huge plate of shredded chicken nachos with guacamole and sour cream was only $15! Huge portions of great tasting food for a fantastic price. The atmosphere was stunning, a local told me the family has owned the restaurant for nearly thirty years and the paintings on the walls are depictions from their home town. If you are visiting Baker City, OR give this place a visit.

Let’s skip past the food and say my husband, who has MS, choked on his water as we were preparing to leave the restaurant. It was no minor incident. The staff rushed to help and even walked him out to the car afterwards. We were very happy with the attention and service offered by this establishment

Our bus broke down and we were looking for a local restaurant. We showed up with a college soccer team of 25. We only had a short wait. When we sat down, the tables were set with chips and salsa and ice water. We ordered and our food came out quickly. It was delicious. The attention to detail by the staff was amazing. They are service oriented here. They took care of us. Best food, best service!

Mexican food is by far my favorite! So, I was really looking forward to this dinner after spending so many hours on the road today. All I can say is that I am extremely disappointed. The fajitas were dry and flavorless. Also, there was less than a cup of the dried, flavorless chicken. Even adding the whole little bowl of salsa didn’t make them palatable. The tortillas were dry and hard, the rice was flavorless and I’m not sure the guacamole even had real avocados in it. Add to that, the service was horrible. I’m not sure if it’s because I was by myself and there were larger parties, but I was completely neglected. I’m not sure who has reviewed this place in the past, but I feel like they’ve never been to a real Mexican restaurant. I’ve been to Mexican restaurants all over the world, and this was probably the second to the worst one ever!
