The food and service were nothing short of perfect. This was my first time here. There are so many options. They all sound so good! I played it safe and went with the beef fajita Avocado Bombs. Delicious! They had such amazing flavor. I cannot wait to go back and try other dishes. This might be our new regular Hotspot. So worth the drive for us from San Antonio.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for so long, I live so close to it but it left me very disappointed. My mom and I went for lunch and were seated fast and our server was amazing! we liked the warm salsa and chips, and I will say that my mom loved her tortilla soup, but I ordered the chipotle enchiladas and they were completely flavorless and pretty cold. I love chipotle enchiladas and it was a huge letdown. I still ate a few bites and then I started noticing that the chicken was tasting a bit off so I opened it up and saw that the shredded chicken was completely pink and I just decided to take it home and ended up just throwing it away. I wouldn’t go back, but it is upsetting because I wanted to like the place so bad!

Very good service from as soon as you walk in the door, to the server, to getting your food, to walking out of the door. Amazing and clean environment. Chips and Salsa are addicting even when you think your full of they are still on the table you will still pick at them. Lol love this place will be coming here again when in the area.

Chicken Mole Enchiladas –
Chicken tasted like canned chicken, mole had no flavor, beans and rice were good,salsa was good service was fast and friendly. Maybe don’t go late on a Sunday Evening.
Overall it was pretty good.

Excellent food and drinks! The entire wait staff from the hostesses to the wait staff and management were extremely friendly to us and my one year old. The food and drinks are the best I’ve had since moving to new Braunfels. Highly recommend!

There are a lot of things to like about Las Fontana’s on Walnut. It’s clean, bright, the staff are attentive, there’s a full bar with a happy hour, and the menu covers just about every classic TexMex. The food was mixed, however. Some dishes were very good, some weren’t. The salsa was delicious and fresh, but the chips were old and the oil was rancid. The carne guisada was moist and tender, but the gravy lacked depth and had so many tomatoes that it was almost sweet. We really enjoyed their enchiladas! But their flour tortillas were old, stale and crispy. Maybe we were there on an off day. We’re interested in trying it again so we can find our favorites.

Amazing waiter, he went out of his way to accommodate us. We were looking for a hotter salsa, and he did not disappoint. He gave us two hotter options. The guacamole could have been a dish by itself. The main dishes were amazing. I ordered the New Mexico hatch pepper stew and Stuffed Avocado, which comes with a street taco, also a puffy taco it was too much food for one person. The Jalisco chicken was an amazing large delishes dish, also. Don’t forget to grab a mint on your way out the door.

My husband order To go since we are under the weather at home. Food was so salty my kid couldn’t finish it. The tostada chips half were good and other half burn or oil smell rancid. We love this place but today was disappointing.
