Waffle House is that comfort-food spot that never misses. The vibe is simple, warm, and familiar you walk in and instantly know you’re about to eat good. The waffles are fluffy, the hash browns are perfect every time, and the whole menu just hits the spot. The staff is friendly, down-to-earth, and always on point even when it gets busy. I’ve been going to Waffle House for years and it’s always been one of my favorite little stops. Nothing fancy but the food is hot and good and they don’t skimp on the portions. I usually get the hashbrowns with onions and cheese and a waffle with just a little syrup. Coffee’s strong but that’s how I like it. The staff works hard and they’re always friendly with me even when they aree busy. It’s not the cleanest place in the world but it’s comfortable and real. Reminds me of places we used to go after church or on road trips. You kinda just feel a home there in a strange way. I will keep going as long as they’re open.

We couldn’t even eat here because when we pulled up there was sign on the door that said it was temporarily closed until 5. We arrived at 4:56 and decided to wait. We waited until 5:10, just to find out that they were open, but not letting anyone in. Waffle House isn’t known for having the best customer service, but this is just unacceptable. The manager on duty should have changed the sign.

The food in this restaurant was delicious and cooked to order. There was no waiting for a table. The wait staff were attentive and kept my coffee cup full. They even gave me a “traveler” when we left! When traveling in the south, we northerners must eat at a Waffle House.

One place my wife and I go all the time is Waffle House in Fort Pierce. We do not get any better service than the team there, they are genuine and seem to have fun there. Not the traditional stories you hear about Waffle House, highly recommend this place!
