The deep dish is great. I had the personal size and I was full. About a 30min wait after you order the pizza, but goodness takes time and can’t be rush The trio sampler was delicious, fried mushrooms, mozzarella sticks & ravioli.
Also the place is huge. They have a space for private parties. Almost forgot about the staff, their dope.
That’s it, go eat.

Service was pretty quick, and all of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

I ordered Cheese Bread and Meatballs (appetizers!) I didn’t have to wait long, but the meatballs were quite cold inside and I had to send them back. They sent out a fresh batch that was a little warmer, but not as warm as I would have liked.

The marinara sauce for the bread sticks was also cold, but I think that’s how they serve theirs? For as cool as everything was, the spices were just a bit hotter than I would usually like… Not unbearable, just a little spicier than I am used to.

The saving grace to my visit was my waitress, Elissa, who tried hard to correct my issues and was professional and very friendly. She and the other staff were “on their jobs” in the front house!

On a side note, when I entered the restaurant, I noticed the smudged fingerprints on the entry door… (A huge pet peeve of mine!) I was impressed that the young hostess l, without me saying anything, must have noticed it and made the time to clean the front door windows before I left! Good job young lady!

This place has gone straight downhill this past year. They cant get an order right or be on time if it is scheduled. Management makes excuses of “being busy” when the restaurant and parking lot are near empty. Seems like a classic case of dont want to work. If I wanted a full salad with old spinach, I would have just ordered that, definitely dont want this crap on a pizza. Not seen, sausage, which was ordered. Included- peppers which were not ordered. Was the worst pizza I have ever tasted.

We arrived in the early afternoon and were seated immediately. There were approximately 10 other patrons in the restaurant. A waitress came immediately and asked what we wanted to drink and we also ordered right away. After ordering, we asked the waitress to wipe our table, as it felt sticky. She did so, but without an apology. There were still crumbs and drips on the table where the leaves folded under to make the table smaller. Upon looking around, there were also large stains on the dividers. The next interaction with our waitress was when our food came about 30 minutes later. Although she was pleasant when she served us our first slices of pizza, I would describe the overall service as utilitarian. The pizza was very tasty. The thin crust was crunchy and buttery. The fried were seasoned, hot and plentiful. Overall, the food was very good.

It was my mom’s birthday and my partner got an individual pizza, which was absolutely perfectly sized, and my mom and uncle got a medium, which was huge.

The cheese pull was crazy. Just the amount of cheese was amazing. The crust was very fresh and homemade-looking.

I ordered an Italian ice for myself, and it was delicious and very filling.

The service was prompt and very friendly, and the price was fair for what we got. Not much else to say!

I recently had the pleasure of trying Lou Malnati’s deep dish pizza in Milwaukee, Illinois, and while I’m new to the world of deep dish, this experience left a lasting impression. Take my five stars with a grain of salt, as this was my first time enjoying this style of pizza, but it was nothing short of incredible. We arrived just before closing, and the staff graciously took our order, preparing it for us to take back to the hotel. Even without the full dine-in experience, the flavors were outstanding—rich, cheesy, and packed with that signature deep dish satisfaction.

Inside the restaurant, it was clear that Lou Malnati’s takes pride in its presentation. The atmosphere was spotlessly clean, giving off a welcoming yet distinctly corporate feel. While some might prefer a more casual or intimate setting, this polished environment reinforces the quality and care they put into their food and service. If the takeout was this good, I can only imagine how fantastic it would be fresh from the oven, right there at the table. Whether you’re a deep dish veteran or a first-timer like me, Lou Malnati’s is a must-try for a true taste of Chicago-style pizza.

I thoroughly enjoyed dining at Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria. The garlic bread with the sauce was delightful. I loved the sauce so much that I requested some to take home with my leftover garlic bread and pizza. The crust on my build your own pizza was crispy, flavorful, and withstood all the toppings I selected. I will return.

We ordered a deep dish pizza with sausage, black olives, onions and mushrooms. Thin crust with sausage, pepperoni and black olives. Plus the combo appetizer. The servers do serve you your first slice of pizza and they box up your leftovers for you.

Their pizzas are topnotch and they do not stiffyou on the toppings. Coming from a huge cheese fanatic, the pizzas do not need extra cheese.

The combo platter comes with breaded mushrooms, breaded zucchini, mozzarella sticks, cheese cubes, with a generous amount of ranch and marinara. Substitutions are allowed even though the menu doesn’t say so. We went with an extra serving of mozzarella sticks instead of the zucchini. The mushrooms and mozzarella sticks are very tasty. The cheese cubes are quite rich as they are sharp cheddar. I personally loved them, but the others at my table not so much.

I placed an order for a personal chicago deep dish and a thin crust sausage and mushroom. It was taken mistakenly for a deep dish. But when I picked it up, Max assisted by having it remade. I didn’t wait long for it either. He even went as far as to give me the pizza that was already made. That was great customer service given by him.He is very much appreciated.
