Great tasting food! Got pork and baked beans. Pork is great, not full of fat like most places. Cornbread is sweet yellow, not my style but free. Love that they support the military and especially the attention to the National Anthem played at 12:00 noon! Love that!

I first discovered them in NC, and now we stop every time in Roanoke.
Absolutely fantastic food, I go for the Brisket, Pulled Pork, and Jalapeño Sausage platter every time.
So good.

I had an incredible experience at Mission BBQ, thank you Jody! He went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten-free allergy, I felt comfortable and safe while dining. His kindness made a huge difference, and I truly appreciate how he treated me like a normal person rather than just a customer with an allergy.
The cashier was also friendly and welcoming, adding to the great atmosphere. The food was amazing, as always—delicious and hit the craving ! I can’t recommend this place enough. 10/10 service!

A big thank you to Mission BBQ of Roanoke for catering RJ and Sylvia’s wedding reception. We have always loved that they are strong supporters of the military and first responders and their food is consistently delicious. So many of their guests told us how much they enjoyed dinner and how good everything tasted.
The staff was incredible and very helpful throughout the evening. They even kept the drink dispensers we brought with us filled without us having to ask. I had worked with two of the staff members at previous weddings and it meant so much to me that they personally requested to work my kids’ wedding. Seeing them there made the day even more special.
Our menu included brisket, pulled chicken, pulled pork, cheesy potatoes, mac and cheese, green beans, cornbread, and rolls. We had plenty of leftovers that we were able to take home and freeze and everything reheated perfectly.
I would recommend Mission BBQ to anyone considering barbecue for their wedding. The food was amazing and the service was excellent from start to finish. ️

We got mission barbecue today for an office meeting day and I’ll start by saying the food it self was incredible! When we got to the restaurant we were very warmly welcomed the food was getting packed up right on time. The few minutes we waited for everything to get packed we were offered free fountain drinks while we waited. The staff was very sweet and carried everything to the car for use. The food was packaged very nice to keep everything warm and prevent any spilling. We happened to be there at 12 and I experienced the moment of silence for the national anthem which was amazing to experience. Overall 10/10 experience from the Semtner Dental Crew!

If I could give more stars I would. Everything was exceptional. Ordered two brisket meals with two sides and corn bread on line. Pick up time was accurate and staff was helpful and friendly. The cornbread was soft buttery and warm. Brisket we got moist and it was as tender as it could possibly be. Mac and cheese and coleslaw both were great but the Carmel apple cobbler deserves an award! Wonderful meal!

We’ve been to a few locations in this chain and the level of quality, service and portions is consistent. There are additions when the seasons change, fresh menu items. Be glad they have the paper towel rolls on the table, good BBQ can be deliciously messy. If you haven’t been, give it a try, well worth it.

Not only is the actual restaurant in Roanoke amazing! But their catering service was fantastic! Our wedding guests loved the food! The spreads were incredible! The meatballs were so good, we just wish they served them in the restaurant! Fantastic!
