Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Traveling thru town, stopped to get something to eat. We didn’t know whataburger sold chicken sandwiches. Tamiya was working the drive thru window. Lovely young lady, took our orders, has us wait a lil bit from the window. Then she brought our food as well as extra condiments. The sandwiches were fire. Probably better than the burgers.

Hands down the best service I’ve ever gotten at Whataburger, maybe the best of any fast food restaurant I’ve been to. Chandz was helpful, gave an accurate wait time, and spoke incredibly clearly. At the window, I broke my cup, and without hesitation he replaced the drink before checking the bag and making sure I got my sauces (which is a rare thing to be seen done right in todays day and age).
The food was fresh and delicious, exactly what you’d expect from Whataburger.

The crew working tonight needs a raise and a thank you. I only spent like 5 minutes in a line full of cars, my burger was perfect, and the entire place looks like it was just deep cleaned. I was dreading an hour wait but it was literally only a few minutes, the order was perfect, something is working so keep that up.

Morning/daytime crew ONLY – Probably the worst whataburger in Amarillo. I’ve never NOT waited a crazy amount of time (usually on something wild like chicken strips in the morning, or biscuits or something) and they always get the order wrong.
However night crew is great and we never have issues.
It’s 100% worth going out of your way to get breakfast/lunch somewhere else.

This is the second time I have gone to whataburger on my break and they have screwed it up. The first time my coworker and I got two meals with two Dr peppers, they forgot one of the fries and gave us root beers instead. Now this time, we order one meal and two fries and one Dr Pepper, the only gave us one fry and the wrong drink again. I have spent my hard earned money on the food I ordered and didn’t even get everything I ordered. I’m done with whataburger hope you enjoyed my free money, you’ll never be getting my business again.

Everytime we come to this whataburger the wait is really long. Today we went around 1pm and the food isn’t fresh, the fries had an old taste to them and my burger had pink in the middle. My son needed to use the bathroom and when we were trying to get the code for the door, the girl at the front was on her phone and wasn’t paying attention to give us the bathroom code.

I can tell that they didn’t wanna be there. That was the atmosphere and they don’t wanna be there. Second gentleman that is working. Fry station has gloves on touching the speaker system also working the speaker system and going to the back and getting drinks. I don’t know if he changed his glove between the drinks, but I hope he did Cause he’s drinking with the gloves on so I’m just making sure that he changed his gloves before he touched my french fries but it doesn’t matter cause all he’s doing is touching the speaker system.
