At El Camino, our guiding principle is to exceed our guest’s expectations in all areas – food, beverage, and ambiance – and create an experience that will arouse and excite our guest’s senses. As a team, we are inspired by the culture and the heritage of Mexico. To that end, we are passionate about bringing you an authentic experience not typically seen north of the border in chain restaurants. We are committed to offering the freshest organic and local ingredients where possible. We are even taking the not so typical step of making our own tortillas, sauces, and anything else possible from scratch.

We started at the bar, and honestly, that set the tone for the whole night. The bartender was incredibly sweet, attentive, and genuinely kind, excellent service, no attitude, no rush. Just old-school hospitality done right. The drinks were on point, smooth, well balanced, and made with care.
Then we moved to our table, and from there the night just flowed. Great food, more drinks, lots of laughter, and time with friends, the kind of evening that feels easy and full at the same time. The service never missed a beat, and everything arrived beautifully presented and packed with flavor. Comfort food with intention. Tradition, but polished.
Overall?
Great restaurant.
Great service.
Great ambiance.
One of those places where the experience matters just as much as the food, and that’s how it should be. We left happy, full, and already talking about coming back. ✨
2- dairy free options!! Made from scratch to order meals. Excellent Carnitas and black beans. The carnitas was moist and three enchiladas in a serving! I got the red sauce on the side. I Could not finish. The black beans are smoky and just the best I’ve ever had and I grew up on Cuban food.
3- carnitas burrito has the beans and meat and rice. The rice is not dairy free.
Amazing place.
Our server Kyler was attentive and made sure to explain everything we needed to know about the happy hour and restaurant over all. He made some awesome recommendations we really enjoyed. Highlights were the expresso martini and jalapeno watermelon margarita they use repasado tequila and it was truly delicious with the perfect balance. The octopus was another recommendation from Kyler and we loved it so much we ordered a second plate!
The location is beautiful the menu has something for everyone and it is a scratch kitchen putting out quality dishes. I wish I had left room for dessert but really enjoyed every dish we tried. Highly recommend if in the area and ask for Kyler! He was an awesome server and made our experience memorable.
To our surprise there was a great happy hour going on and we ordered several items from the menu. I had a prosecco and rose, as well as the fish tacos and tamales. No complaints. I’ve lived in Mexico for a few years, so for some restaurant tamales found in Florida, with a little salsa and sour cream, these weren’t bad at all. Absolutely loved my fish taco as well.
My crew member is a former bartender and had 4 drinks and said he loved them all. He ordered so much food off the Happy Hour menu I couldn’t keep track, but he was very pleased. Lol.
The bartenders were very professional and personable, and just had overall good positive energy.
Our food and drinks came out very quickly. For our final orders, it took a little longer because there were more people. So I can imagine on a packed day service may take longer for your orders. Lastly, the prices are perfect. I definitely feel you get your money’s worth here for the Happy Hour menu.
Overall this was a great first visit and I definitely look forward to visiting again the next time I’m in the city.
They had a happy hour with great prices and tacos. We got three different tacos, the fish, the gringo, and the pork. They were ok, a little dry, and could have used some sour cream or salsa. We also ordered chips and salsa, but when it came out our waiter told the food runner the wrong seat at the bar so I had to speak up and they placed another order in and had to wait all over again.
I think they definitely needed more help behind the bar for faster, friendlier, and accurate service.
I travel a lot and wasn’t super impressed.
