Excellent! My taste buds are still dancing 24hrs later. Every dish was exquisite, the naan divine, and the service excellent. We even met the owner Ram who does this as his hobby!! Best Indian food I have ever tried. The butter chicken is so rich and creamy and tasty. The garlic naan is fresh and so soft and delicious. The Tandoori chicken is amazing it came warm and fresh. The sauces were great and savoury. I will never forget this meal and it literally changed my life. I really recommend it to anyone who is in Ottawa or wants to try Indian food for the first time

I have been enjoying the excellent flavour experience of little india cafe since 2000 when I worked in he Bayshore area and I just recently discovered that they once again have their amazing lunch buffet open. I promise if you come one time to check it out, you will become a happy regular client that will be sending friends and family there to discover this special experience.
When you dine there and meet the owner , Ram Chander you will understand that it’s not just a business, his mission of bringing his recipes and wonderful food to his clients is what makes him smile.
You don’t go there for a fancy or wow ambiance .
However you will return for years because this hidden gem on Wylie ave across from the Coliseum theatres is just that good!

I drove up and noticed people inside, but the “Open” sign wasn’t on. Instead of assuming, I called to check—just in case they were hosting a private event. The lady who answered the phone was incredibly kind and confirmed they were open. When I explained why I asked, she was very understanding and even asked if I’d be ordering takeout.
I told her I was parked outside, came in, and was greeted by the same lovely woman who had answered the phone. She was welcoming, patient while I looked at the menu, and made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable. I chose to wait in my car, and she actually came outside to knock on my car window to let me know my food was ready—above and beyond customer service.
She truly made my day. To the owners/managers: please never let this girl go—she is a gem and represents your restaurant beautifully.
And the food? By far the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious. From now on, this will be my go-to spot.
(Also… if you ever have a deal on the fried bread, please let me know—I’ll definitely be ordering )

Small halal authentic Indian restaurant with variety of food options. We ordered butter chicken with garlic Nan, Sekh Kebab and Samosa. I would say butter chicken was delicious and amazing with the bread and sekh kebab was not bad. Their service was excellent and the server was quite nice and helpful.

World Famous Butter Chicken & Garlic Naan Bread. Get the butter chicken. It is creamy, buttery, and royal. The chicken is perfectly cooked. Juicy. Large quantity of meat. Garlic naan. One for each person. Super yummy. Nice sesame seeds. Ordered the veg samosas. I’ve had better ones from there before. The okra dish was good. But we kept on going for dipping the naan into the butter chicken sauce. Curious to know the other dishes everyone likes.
Also great value. They didn’t sky rocket their food prices like everyone else. Friendly staff. Good service.

The food was good but quite normal. Edible but nothing special. The chicken Tikka curry was on the sour side. The service was quite good. Prices are on a higher side especially given that this is a small place that can also feel a bit cramped. Parking can be a challenge.
