Excellent food and good pricing for the portion size they give you. We had the 2 for $30 which comes with 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. The drunken noodles, cashew chicken, and pot stickers were all great. They also have chicken and rice soup for anyone to enjoy while waiting for your food. It is mostly broth and had a good flavor. I liked the spices and oil on the table so you can control how much heat to add to your meal. Will definitely be back!

Update: 12/11/24 I went in for a quick lunch, I ordered a kids cashew chicken to eat in. I got the rice and meatball soup, it was hot but not much flavour, the entree came and it was hardly even warm. Not very appetizing. I went to get the egg drop soup and hardly had any egg. This was at 11:30am and the soup container was full so it was made this way. I did tell the worker about the chicken hardly being warm and he said it had probably been made with earlier orders. Hmm…
He offered to get me another but I was there for a quick lunch and had to go. I am done with this place.
Update: spring rolls were barely warm and seemed not fresh, same with the cashew chicken, it just had hot gravy poured over it. Lots of small pieces that weren’t even chicken but fried coating. I think I just got scraps. I want to like this place but quality is lacking.
Food was good but our spring rolls were cold in the middle. Service was great. Floors were very sticky. We will try again.

This Thai restaurant started in a very small building on Glenstone and then years later moved to Republic Rd. The food is excellent! I was recently back in town and made the drive to the southwest part of town to get one of my nostalgic favorites, Chicken Mango Curry! Delicious (even though I hadn’t been back in years) and you feel healthy when eating because of the yummy veggies. Also don’t forget to have some soup! The original soup is the rice and chicken ball…so warm and satisfying . Was great to visit again!

If you’re the type of person that claps when the plane lands, this place is for you. We paid $50.00 for the most blandest food I think I’ve ever gotten from a restaurant. Literally, seasoned it myself after I got home and it still somehow lacks flavor. First time eating here and will definitely be the last.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was a very nice surprise to find in Springfield, MO. It’s a small place and is packed during the lunch rush. I tried the Royal Chicken (medium) and was blown away! The royale chicken is lightly breaded and comes with a side of fried rice. The sauce was mild and the next time I get it, I will ask for some heat! Everything tasted very fresh. Today the owner had purple hair this week and makes you feel welcome! If you have a craving for Thai food, you have to try out Thai Express! Oh and don’t forget to get a bowl of the chicken rice soup while you wait for your meal. It is free if you are dining in!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! We eat out all the time. This is one of the best restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of partaking in. Absolutely the best Asian food of any kind I have had in the last 10yrs. These guys are doing it so right! Food is amazingly good, cooked to order and oh so flavorful. The value is off the charts fantastic. Portions are huge. We had the Thai Chili Stir Fry, The Peanut Chicken and the Mango Curry. (Photos below). It was an absolute incredible and amazing flavor explosion. I can’t get over just how amazing this place is. Hands down, has to be the absolute best Asian food in all of Springfield! No questions asked. The service was amazing as well. Super, super friendly and attentive. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE WINNING COMBINATION FOLKS! You will not regret it I promise you! We can’t wait to go back! Our new most favorite go-to restaurant!!

After my last review the people at Thai express expressed how sorry they were about me having an allergic reaction to the egg that was in my pad Thai and a misunderstanding on my end about gluten free noodles, they offered to remake my food completely free of charge. I wasn’t able to go in but my husband Jess said that the manager was very apologetic and was very very nice. the food I received was free of egg, and gluten, but was still kind of dry, but very flavorful and tasty. We will be coming back and I really appreciate the remake of food ❤️

Enjoyed the drunken noodles. I got them spicy and they were perfect – sufficiently spicy that I can’t imagine surviving the Thai level spicy option. The young man at the counter was friendly and took care of an additional request quickly. The prices are not too bad and the food was ready at the expected time for pick up. Would eat here again.
