We had lunch here yesterday and the food and the service were both excellent. I had the maple bourbon bacon burger, and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The meat was so delicious and perfectly cooked. I also had sweet potato fries, which were wonderful. Definitely a place to return to.

Been here last year and the quality of food went down unfortunately. Burgers not as flavorful and juicy as it used to be. I ordered the cowboy and the patty was a little dry despite medium cooked. My fries are amazing but my partner’s was mid. Spinach and artichoke dip was good but portions shrunk and stale tortilla chips:( Seasonal beet salad was good, 3/5. Stopped in for lunch with my wife. There was plenty of seating and great service. I ordered the chili as an appetizer, it was very good but packed a little heat. The burgers were delicious. Looking forward to going back!

So Max Burger has two locations. In Longmeadow MA and in West Hartford, CT. I’ve gone to both locations through the years and generally have been pleased. Some hiccups but not too bad. About a week ago, I had the Cauliflower Shawarma bowl. It’s nice when the menu changes on occasion so we can experience new foods and recipes.
Whoever is the one to come up with menu items: these suggestions are for you:
The Cauliflower Shawarma bowl was good, okay. Not great. So I thought I’d make a suggestion or two. To begin with the menu says it has crispy chic peas. They are not crispy. The are chewy. Kind of yucky to be honest. Please leave them as regular chic peas or make them crispy! Right now they’re in between. This “bowl” is more like a salad and it would be nicer in my opinion if the ingredients were mixed together rather than served separate.
The largest complaint I had with this dish were the red onions. Not only were they cut way too large and thick, but there were so many, they over powered everything else! I think I picked about 2800 large thick red onion slices out of the bowl. A few very thin, cut up red onions would be plenty!! I also wonder how you decided on a $17 price point that doesn’t include a protein. Please reevaluate the prices on all your dishes. A price of $12, to me, sounds more in line with a bowl of veggies and orzo. That way I can afford to add chicken to it.
Overall we like Max Burger very much but this particular dish could use a little tweaking in the ingredients and in the price. Again, my opinion. Thanks for listening.
One more thing I’ve witnessed: no one really knows the spice level of a dish because it’s not added to the menu. Some type of spice level in writing next to menu items could be helpful for the general public.

My friend and I meet for lunch or dinner every 2-3 months to catch up with each other. We came to Max Burger in Longmeadow as the other restaurant we had planned to eat at was closed on Mondays.
We ordered a couple of appetizers and sides. I ordered the pulled pork spring rolls and sweet potato fries. They were so tasty, and the sauces that came with each order made it even better!
We enjoyed ourselves and the atmosphere in the restaurant. We’ll be back!

In the past I provided an excellent review, but tonight changed that. I took my family here for an early dinner (4pm). As we were seated another couple started a conversation with us. Dinner and our waitress was fine. After dinner the couple came over and we spoke about our kids and college and schools. Then a waiter (not ours) interrupted us (no excuse me, no pardon me) in front of my kids and just said “hey keep it down there are people near by!” Now this place has tables about three feet apart, kids are welcome, it’s loud and busy. If you are looking for an intimate,quiet experience go somewhere that has that!!!!! We were having a conversation (non offensive topics) and this puke interrupted us rudley…..Well I let the manager know that we will not be coming back, and the couple we were with agreed….We have never had a problem here EVER, but one encounter can change everything….And if you are that sensitive to sound 1) Earmuffs 2) stay at home 3) get take out!!!!

Good service and great food. The manager who stated he was new made a point to stop by our table and ask us how our dinner was. More restaurants should employ this often missed opportunity to connect with customers. Salads are outstanding in size, quality and presentation!
