First off the service was top-notch! The food came out, hot and delicious one of the best smashed burgers I’ve had in a very long time. And when you eat here, just go ahead and go with the combo you get a box full of fries with a burger. It’s pretty much amazing. This place will be a staple the next time I visit Portland highly recommend this place.

You know I was really excited to eat here, but I have to say I was pretty disappointed after. I don’t think I’ve had food disappoint me in a long time either. And maybe it was the person that was working I’m not sure but my entire hamburger patty was completely burnt, paper thin, hard scrapings or something! Zero meat! My dog wouldn’t even eat it! Maybe I’ll try again when there’s a different cook working! Atleast the sauce was amazing!

Service was top notch. Not blown away by the food at all. But that’s kind of the food cart way these days it seems. Full price for dry mediocre food. What was lacking in taste was made up for by the wonderful service received and the fun Portland food truck environment with lots of happy people and I’m just thankful this place is no longer burnt to the ground. Where do I begin, this place with the atmosphere is beyond amazing! I am from Fort Lauderdale Florida, I live in Savannah Ga. First I want to think Phoebe & Jimmy for the outstanding service. The food smelled delicious. The customer service was superb. I went to grab food for Ash Groove on the river. The locals that I was around, haven’t even heard of this place. It was none less than out of this world. The food the signature drinks with the smash burger I just want to think Iron Strike for this outrageous masterpiece of a burger! I been here a week for work, this is my last day in Oregon till next time. I will most definitely be back to eat here when I come back. Great job all around, Phoebe didn’t mind explaining everything to me. Phoebe was extremely patient with me. I ordered a two Double Strike combo, three single strikes and a single strike combo. So so so delicious, that’s probably not professional the way I started this sentence off lol. Wonderful job team Strike

Was delivering some marketing to this place and they gave me a discount when I came back! I’m a very picky eater that tries new places/foods once a month. I keep giving burgers second and third chances but I’ve concluded that it’s texture. THE FOOD IS NOT BAD AT ALL!!!! I’m very appreciative of the kind service and that discount. I will send burger loving friends here. The drinks blew my mind! Purple Rain is a genius combo.

My recent experience I was not happy with the language barrier. I repeated My order THREE times and STILL was served an incorrect order. When I had attempted explaining it was incorrect and requested to have it re-made; he didn’t seem to understand what I meant… hence the language barrier. This was My first disappointing visit and I understand that you “can’t win them all” but please do better Smash Burger!

This place ranks up there for smash burgers. I ordered the Double Pastrami Thor and had the burger smashed with bacon bits. (I could probably have just got a single, but wanted to go all out) The patties were smashed perfectly, and I felt that every bite was just wonderful. You can tell that the meat is of good quality. The loaded fries were decent, but the burger was the main attraction for sure.
