The food was delicious. I got an orange juice with white peach.
I ordered the B.E.C and added carmelized onions.
She got the walk of shame with fries and a starburst drink.
They were out of turkey bacon which was a real bummer because that was part of the reason we chose to come here.
Overall, excellent food. I will be back to try more of their menu items.
Service: Self-serve displays, which personally I wish would stop due to taking away the human element. Ordering on a screen just pushes me to want to go through the drive thru, but I came in for the environment. Upon taking your own order, giving your phone number to go to the counter to pick up your own food, and serving your own beer, the display asks for a tip starting at 15% – 25%. Fair wages for all, but tip culture has been toast for a while. This takes the cake. What service(s) was/were provided??…
Self-serve beer taps too which take away the bartender experience. I can get beer from the gas station if I don’t want to interact, but that’s not why I’m voluntarily coming to an establishment to have a drink! I digress… clearly I’m not a fan of Self checkout at the grocery either.
Staff behind the counter did say hello and show me around the menu, but it wasn’t necessary since you have to do it yourself anyway.
A few other staff didn’t make any eye contact when passing and no greetings.
Atmosphere: Excessively loud music and speakers everywhere, so no escape corner. I’m a fan of concerts and a musician, but I can’t even hear my own thoughts at this place today.
Decor and Facility buildout is basic-boho with sterile neutrals and rushed to fill style interior design. Very spacious and great for large gatherings as long as you get in before 3pm closing time. Hours are strange, mainly promoting day-drinking I guess?… That’s fun too.
Loads of fun games everywhere, this was a fun addition to the space.
I tossed on a few extras to make my burger + fries $25, but simple sandwiches are under $15 so I’d try again, but to-go only.
We were struggling a bit at the kiosk trying to figure out how to order extra sauces. Karla came over right away and helped us with the kindest attitude. When we asked how to add sauces, she said, “They’re free, just let me know which ones you want,” and brought us two of each to try. It’s so refreshing to visit a place that doesn’t nickel and dime you.
After placing our order, I realized I forgot to get a patty for our dog. Karla came by to check on us, and when I told her, she said she would make sure it came out with our food. It actually came out a few minutes before, which was perfect so our dog could eat first. That level of care really stood out.
As for the food, everything was delicious. The loaded fries were savory and rich with a perfectly cooked egg on top. The burgers were juicy and flavorful, and the truffle fries with greens were a nice balance. The orange juice was honestly one of the best I’ve had. It was fresh, tangy, and had just the right amount of sweetness.
The space itself is bright, open, and welcoming. There are games at every table, and it’s both dog friendly and family friendly.
We’ll definitely be back. Karla, thank you for going above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
Thank you ladies for the awesome lunch!
