The interior itself was a bit dingy- nothing crazy just seemed a bit dusty. When I walked in I was a little worried about the quality of the food as first impressions go. The waitress took a little while to greet us and then return with our drinks and take our order. Overall great food – would get take out over dine in.
Us when food was done but we received the wrong pizza. On top of that, the ricotta with the meatballs was spoiled and sour. This place has gone down hill and will probably close within the next year. Don’t waste your time!
I’m really bummed. I eat ACFP in McMurray all the time, to the point where I crave their pizza specifically! Being wheat-free, it’s one of the best options for a gluten friendly crust. Figuring I was going to be near the Robinson location, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to grab my favorite pizza. But I wish I had, unfortunately. Their crust is COMPLETELY different from the McMurray location. It was thin, floppy, and plain…a MAJOR disappointment. Especially for the cost at over $50 for two pizzas. I purchased another pizza with my order (just a regular pizza), which also had a different crust from the McMurray location as well. Very odd.
The only thing I can think of is that the restaurant seemed to be having some sort of maintenance issue as they were closed for dine-in, and maybe that’s where the difference came from. But I’m majorly disappointed and had I known it would affect the quality of order, I wouldn’t have gone.
Edit: ACFP reached out to me within days of posting the above review and are offering to remake my order. The air conditioning unit was broken during my visit, causing the pizza doughs to rise and bake/cook differently than they’re used to. I will update my post once I’ve received the new pizza and compare.
Edit to their response: Why can’t the manager call me to explain? Why are you apologizing over a review? You know what the order is – pick up the phone and call me. I dont think youre that sorry and that’s why ill let everyone know to stay away from your business.
Do not eat here unless you like insecticides in your food.
Yes, the illegal kind that shouldn’t be used in restaurants.
Apparently they can’t control the bug problem, so they buy illegal insecticides and hide them outside.
