Horrible dining experience! I cannot believe this place hasn’t been shut down. The floors were dirty, the counters were dirty, the plates and utensils were dirty. The ice cream scooper was disgusting, It was sitting in dirty water with something growing on it! The food is not fit to eat. Everything sits on the buffet and gets cold. Not to mention it’s filled with MSG which makes your stomach feel heavy and sick. My husband and I each made a plate and nothing was edible. He took both our plates to the manager.

I agree with all of the customers who reviewed this place. Last time I went here, my daddy was still alive! When I first read the reviews, I have never come back ever since. It has been 4 years and THIS place has changed for the WORSE. I remember eating stale-tasting pizza and old-tasting chicken last time I went. But today, the cleanliness of this entire establishment is awful! The employees sometimes forget to clean dishes, tables, and the buffet itself. I get the employees are Asian, but they need to speak some English! They are useless about ice cream. One time, I asked a lady where the chocolate syrup was (they didn’t have any). The only thing she did was point everywhere and say unintelligible things. More recently, a customer asked where the pecan ice cream was. The male employee just shrugged. The manager is also pretty rude, saying that “it’s a Chinese restaurant, what do you expect? We don’t speak English very well” or something. Also, there are cockroaches EVERYWHERE! They could end up in your food or crawl onto your table. They can even end up in your drinks, too! There are SO many cockroaches that one customer was CHARGED quite a bit of money for the bugs in their food! I also saw that this place still has a low health score. I’m BEYOND shocked that Chow King is still in business! PLEASE BOYCOTT CHOW KING UNTIL IT SHUTS DOWN!!

A good buffet. Fresh foods today for the most part. A few things for example the butterfly shrimp was very old and hard. A few containers remained empty the entire visit with some examples like tomatoes on the salad bar and tapioca pudding. And the sushi bar ran somewhat low. And the waitress brought the check before we was able to hardly begin eating. These are my reasons for my rating.

The restaurant smells a little add… but it’s my granddaughters favorite place so we are there..
Most of the food was great, had a few Items in the hot bar that wasn’t even warm.. but other than that it was pretty good.

She is rude, she comes up and sticks her hand out demanding a tip and if you don’t give her one she fallows you to the register and watches to see if you write one down. Very unprofessional!!! DO NOT GIVE HER YOUR CARD OR MONEY SHE WILL WRITE NUMBERS ON THE TIP LINE AND SHE WON’T RETURN EXACT CHANGE!!! Neglects beverage refills and stands around and does nothing!! Food is terrible!!

I have eaten here several times, never anything wrong but today me & my friends ate there. We were just about done & a roach runs across the table. We jumped up & I guess she was the manager went back there, they pulled the table out & of course the roach had hauled ass. What pissed me off is that manager acted like we should get over it & pay. Had to pay for one meal because I thought she might call the law. This was my friend’s first time there & it ran out from under her plate. Neither one of us will ever go back to that place. I thought that under the circumstances the manager should have been more concerned about roaches running around in the restaurant than if we’re going to pay. BEWARE, roaches are there.
