Great food and warm friendly service in a old Amish barn. We were introduced to this place by friends that are locals and we just loved the experience. The prime rib was my favorite as well as the whole fried okra with spicy ranch sauce for dipping. I have also heard the Cuban sandwich is a must have also. The service was awesome from the time we arrived until we left and the prices were reasonable. Whatever you get I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. We can’t wait until our next visit to this true hidden gem.

My Husband and I are camping nearby at Chester State Park and decided to swing in here for dinner. I ordered the BBQ chicken nachos, with the fried pimento cheese appetizer, and my husband ordered the short rib. The food was delicious and put a hurtin’ on both of us- in the best way. We definitely did not leave hungry, no sir. My husband very rarely gets to enjoy short rib cooked right. The portion size felt like it kept going and the price for it all was unbelievable. Leslie was our server. I would say she is the best server we have had in a very long time. She kept her eyes on everything happening in her section. Everyone from hostess to food runners, servers to manager, were all helping each other, and that’s what makes for a smooth operation. Our drinks never got half way empty, several people checked on our table, and our server made us feel at home. Atmosphere, food, service was amazing.

I haven’t been to Sweet Carolines in a few years but went to lunch with my boss. I had a great bleu cheese burger with their homemade squash and onion rings which was outstanding. I drink my tea unsweet but even that was delicious . Praline cheesecake for dessert that we shared and we still had to bring leftovers in a box. We were both full. I should have taken photos but I’m sure we will return soon because it was outstanding!

I love the atmosphere here! The fries are amazing (hand cut & soft like I love)! I got to try the beer battered cod today, which was excellent. My partner and I have been here several times and we still don’t think the barbecue itself is the best. I prefer a sweet barbecue sauce, and that is not in their options. He loves the sauces though. But today, we tried some of their homemade desserts! The buttermilk pie was to DIE for! My partner loved the pineapple upside down cheesecake, and I thought it was great too, and I don’t normally like cheesecake. (Apologies for not remembering to take the pictures before we dug in.). Such a cozy atmosphere and the servers have always been very friendly! [Had to edit my review because I realized I had reviewed the wrong restaurant on here-one that is nowhere near as good-because when moving to the area, somebody told me the wrong name and I got the two confused. My bad!!!]

Went with my husband for the first time. And I loved it! The food and service were great.

There was no wait and our server was so sweet.

I had pork with slaw, rice and gravy and fried okra. I personally like vinegar on/with my pork and they happen to have some on the table! That really made my day. The fried okra was crispy and the sauces paired great with the food. We also shared brisket nachos and pinto cheese fritters very delicious. The serving sizes are on the larger side we ended up taking a couple of boxes home. They also had cheese cakes which I really love but I wanted to try their buttermilk pie. I strongly recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely the best bbq place I’ve tried yet. Definitely try the pimento cheese balls, whole fried okra and bro to rib! Paid $18 for a HUGE beef rib and three sides. Best prices around.

Food was good not great. We chose to sit in the sun room and those tables were really sticky and dirty. Prices were decent. The waitress seemed a bit aggravated, not sure why. I had the burnt ends with potato Salad and hushpuppies. The wife had the brisket with fried squash and fried okra . They do give you a bigger portion than other places. We had the fried pickles for an appetizer and they were good, comes with 2 types of sauce. Good place for a good bite to eat.

I highly recommend the brussels in honey siracha and pimento fritters with spicy ranch. The food was served hot and fresh. The service was excellent given by our waiter, Andrew. It started to get busy and he continued to be very attentive to our table. This was our first visit, and we are certain to return. Dined in and took a plate home togo.

The sign that said memory’s are made together was right. I went with my church and have a great time. It gets 4 big booms!!! The Mac and cheese was great. I put some chicken and ranch in it (myself) and it was delicious. Th chicken was good but dry, sauce options were good and saucy. My friend loved it! Cheese cake was so good I forgot to take a picture. BBQ options were amazing with the burnt ends being the best. Loaded fries were bussin! Okra needed seasoning. Tea was not water down and sweet. Get the strawberry crunch cheesecake. The atmosphere was so sigma that the restaurant gained 1000 aura and rizzed the Skibidis. Watch out for Skibidi toilets in the bathroom
