The food was delicious. I received my breakfast order very quickly. The waiter staff was very attentive to refills and kept asking if I needed anything. It was run like a well-oiled machine. You could tell they all got along and all worked together perfectly. Everyone was all hardworking and extremely friendly. I hadn’t been to a waffle house in a long time. But I’ll definitely be back here.

I know it’s Waffle House. And I don’t know if it was because of the rain. But there was an ungodly smell in that place. I took one step in sat down and stood right up and walked out it was unbearable. It smelled like sewer which is why I’m thinking it was the rain but still. It was horrible. A mix of sewage and BO. I’m sure the food and service would’ve been great as always but good lord that place stinks today. 10/25/25

Great eating experience at Waffle House in Longview, TX. The staff was attentive and helpful. They were friendly and having a good time serving us. Good music, too! The sausage hashbrowns eggs, Jalopenos, and country gravy was hot and tasty. No complaints.

If y’all have never been to a Waffle House you are definitely missing out. Love the old school greasy spoone Diner vibes. Best seat in the house is at the counter so you can watch the cooks work their magic.
As for the food it’s great American comfort food. We ordered the patty melt bowl with hash browns and onions. Steak with eggs, the eggs were cooked perfectly Sunny Side up. and a cheeseburger with hash browns. All the food was amazing and served fresh. It was cool watching them cook our food right in front of us.
Our waiter John Paul was amazing and gave us everything we needed accordingly. They made one small mistake and he corrected it immediately and didn’t even charge us for it so that was a plus in my book.

Normally I would give Waffle House 5-STAR rating but this time the only thing good about it was is the coffee that my husband finally received and my chocolate milk. The waitress brought the food to us cold my husband’s eggs were under-cooked mine were over cooked bacon was cold and the waitress screwed up the hashbrown order on mine.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT waste your time or money here. All we heard was complaining, the waffles were soggy. Hash browns were burnt. Etc etc etc. we came here to eat, not to listen to the ignorant drama with crappy food. This was a first time we didn’t leave a tip in our entire lives but received a notification that doesn’t match up with our receipt. Trust me when I say I’m going to fight the charge.
