2022 review :This place is not the same restaurant we really loved. See my previous review below… The food just does not taste as good. Service has declined too and used plates never get taken from the table during the buffet..The deserts are blah and not the one we liked to go to the weekend buffets. Sorry to see the place slide down so much …we lost a great restaurant and now it has joined the rest of the pack._________<<<
This was my review a year ago….not true anymore …..
new place post pandemic …. authentic south Indian and north Indian food. Andhra style restaurant…Wide choice and fresh ….great apps.Indian sweets made fresh ! Must try. Cilantro fish ..I have never had before ….great carrot halwa, Mysore pak etc. We tried the buffet on Saturday. Place was busy and wait staff are attentive. Folks are happy to take suggestions. I hope the food quality stays the same …they have set a high bar which is great ! Probably the top indian restaurant in town right now for authentic Andhra food. This review was done 12 plus months ago …

Went back 2 weekends in a row now and I am amazed at the quality of the food , the choices and the service. Great job in spite of the challenges of labor and supply cost inflation.

And Happy Anniversary! Great food art !!!

Got to know about Indian Delight during a NATA event that was held in Austin. Food was very good and so wanted to try this restaurant.

Looks like weekends they have buffet and we went for a Lunch Buffet. There were so many items and they were really good.

There had good veg and non veg menu and they always had one chat which really interested me. They keep different items every-time and that was totally eye catching. Food taste is also very good with a decent pricing. We had been a regular visitor now

They serve buffet until 4.00pm which helped us have lunch, when we dropped in at 2.30 pm.

There is enough parking for this restaurant as this restaurant is located inside a complex.

On our initial visit to this restaurant, we had no prior information or reservations, but we were pleasantly surprised. The buffet offered delicious food, especially the desserts. The restaurant is spacious and caters to both South and North Indian cuisine, providing numerous options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. They offer a variety of veg/non veg dishes, including biriyani and rice dishes, making it a good value for the price. It’s a great place to sample a wide range of dishes from both North and South Indian cuisines.

My daughter and I decided to try this place today and were very happy with our food. I’m can be pretty picky and I’ve tried a few other Indian places in the area. This place is equally as good, but the portions seemed larger to me. They did provide bottled water, but didn’t charge us for it. That doesn’t bother me at all. They did seem a little short staffed, but the lady who was our server was very nice and friendly. It’s not a super fancy place. No fancy bells and whistles, but the food was awesome. The music was lively. I ordered chicken biryani, saag paneer, channa masala, naan, samosas, butter chicken. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious. I tried a mango lassi for the first time and it was also delicious. Go try this place. I highly recommend it.

Bad first experience, hope it is just due to holiday staff shortage. Arrived at 8:50, left very unhappy at 10:30pm! Slow service, half order never showed up till I argued about it, no apology, incorrect billing – price does not match menu. Even paper bill and actual credit card charge do not match. Food that did arrive was excellent in taste. No serving spoons. Gobi Manchuria charged at $14 (not menu price), cc charged $115.86 vs $111.40 on paper bill

Update tried calling to talk to manager, was told to WhatsApp, tried WhatsApp but who ever it was on other end has no interest in understanding issue, claims rates change and menu does not have to reflect it? Changing my rating to one star just because management does not care. Food was good no issue.

Updating from 1 star to 4 stars after giving the place another shot for lunch. Good service and food at the weekday buffet. Vegetarian options could have been better, but everything was flavorful and no issues.

I went for the lunch buffet. There are various veg and non-veg options to choose from. The fish fry was decent. Chicken pepper fry was good. Dont even think about tasting Pav Bhaji, it was not great and I somehow couldnt finish it. Biryani was decent along with Chicken Curry.

Our first visit today to Indian delights was wonderful.

The food was excellent the service was pretty much nonexistent however I cannot blame restaurant owners for the staffing issues that they unfortunately experience during Covid when many servers have no desire to show up on time or to work at all.

I feel for those in the restaurant industry because of this, however what was irritating to me is I asked twice for two glasses of water with ice and was forced to drink the bottle of water on the table which was of course an added expense to our meal which I did not ask for.

No servers ever came by to check on us at our table.

The other issue was it took approximately 45 minutes for the naan bread to get out of the kitchen from when they open the doors at 11:30 and also for there to be any rice on the buffet line also took 45 minutes.

We will definitely come back as the food was excellent but would appreciate the owners serving water to customers who want water rather than charging them for bottled water which is sit out on every single table in the restaurant. If you need to charge more money for the buffet then charge more money.

If you want to explore food from different parts of India or if you are just missing home, this is the place to visit. Loved the food and ambience and at great prices. Good size of helping. I hope the owners of the place don’t increase the prices as the place gets more popular. Buffet is great – being a big appetite 🙂

Great food at good prices. We ordered the snacks which were made fresh and tasted really good. Tried Fry piece chicken biryani, chicken 65 biryani and Vijayawada special biryani and nothing disappointed us. The taste is very authentic even in the buffet too.

Been here twice!! Amazing buffet menus I should say!! It would be better if the same quality is getting maintained.

Update: they don’t maintain food quality anymore as assumed. I went to the counter and tried to tell them the same and the owner was so damn hesitant to even take a review. He goes I’m short staffed and this is the best I can do. If you want to have it, have it or just leave. Very rude and unwelcoming.
